gaming Which console did you grew up with in the 90's?

The 90's was where it was at for me in gaming, retro and classic gaming is what I enjoy most over modern gaming after all.

So everyone played something of a console or handheld at the time, but which one did you own at the time?

The Playstation 1 was my console, and not only did it turn me into a gamer, but my favorite games of all time like crash bandiccot were from that console!

That, and the PS1 had without a doubt the best start up ever!

I didn't grow up in the 90's for very long, but if you counts systems, mine would probably be the Playstation and the Dreamcast. SA1 and SA2 are still two of my favorite Sonic titles, and I always love returning to the Crash Bandicoot series.

I grew up with the PS1, and every time I turn it on I always loved listening to the start up intro.

That startup screen, man.

So memorable.

I was born in 1992 and the first system I had was the SNES, closely followed by the Genesis. I'd probably have to say that the 16-bit era is my nostalgic sweet spot.

You know it! I will never forget it, ever.

I'm actually playing my PS1 right now.

Ah, Crash, you never fail to bring me enjoyment.

I grew up Playing on the Playstation 1, I loved that console so much, though I was pretty young in the 90's. I really wish I had kept my PS1, but I still have my PS2 so it's all good!

I had both SNES and PS1 with a few games when i started playing(1999 or so)

But when i hear the PS1 boot, one part of my childhood revives. :)

I grew up with the PS1, and every time I turn it on I always loved listening to the start up intro.

That intro doesn't get old,bot like those nowadays intros, which need about 20 hours(upgrades and extremely slow boot ups sometimes)

I miss those times, when all you have to do was:

-Buy the game

-Turn on the video console

-Have fun!

And now:

-Buy the game

-Turn on console

-Put up serial code

-Wait for upgrades

-Long load screens

-Have fun(not at all nowadays)

Do you see the fail? :/

You know, there were ALOT of collect-athons in the 90's :P

Nothing wrong with that. Banjo Kazooie is a great game.

My very first console was the Sega Genesis. I loved quite a few of the games on it!

My cousin had it!!!That's how I experienced the best of all consoles(Sega,Nintendo,Sony)

Yeah, and look at the games that we have now. :P

All copy-paste fps shooters,broken games,awful stories,and more :(

Nintendo 64 :D Best console ever. First console to feature 64bit CPU and had my favorite game of all time, Starfox, in beautiful 3D graphics :3

I only experienced it on emulators, but having that console on 90's should've been awesome :P
