I used to play it alot starting in 2004 then i stopped after like three years and then in high school I'd play sometimes in the summer. Then I played a bit more on private servers. Wasn't that long ago when Bandos was killed. *Edit* -facehoof- Tried hopping on Runescape, and I can't even get to the homepage. If I try, it freezes my entire computer. Just like someday I may get back to Ragnarok Online II. I don't do MMOs very often. I have no interest in the player interaction aspect of it. It was the first time I'd ever experienced an MMORPG, so the fact that I was playing a game online, with other people in real-time, absolutely blew my mind. My friends and I used to get on everyday and play together after school. I mostly messed around and trolled other players, but my friends took it really seriously. They'd grind, seek out quests, gather materials to build new items, stuff like that. I found that stuff pretty boring, and I was more interested in doing weird things and seeing how other players would react. My favorite thing to do was click "follow" on a random person, and go with them on their Runescape errands, to get an idea of what they were like, and what they were interested in. I met a lot of cool people that way, and I had some pretty good times with that. Of course, there were the occasional rotten people who would lead me out into the wilderness or to a PvP area somewhere to kill me and take my stuff. I'd always spend hours at the GE and hop into the deep wildy or kill chickens for money and feathers. I was around level 70 woodcutting, and I think level 50 in less than a year of playing. After the updates, they killed the game completely, to the point where I don't even want to play anymore. They're letting people play the 2007 servers again, but you have to be a member! That really sucks. I don't wanna pay for nostalgia. I doubt I'll ever play it again unless they make Old School free. That was the shiz. Almost 10 years ago when all the boys in my class would play this game and we'd go with like 12 of us into the Wilds. Good times, good times.
