Hello my fellow bronies and pegasisters. You have given me so much and I want to give something to you guys. But I can't really do much on my end, so I'll take what ever opportunity I can get. So I will be giving free ideas and helping with an RP(s). Or I could help you get one off the ground. Help you create characters and anything else. I have a lot of time so no rush. If you want some help, feel free to ask. I promise I won't bite.

Well... I made a new OC recently (Nassir, he's in my signature), and although im happy with his backstory, I feel his personality is abit... bare. I was wondering if you had any ideas on how I could expand on this.Maybe a quirk or something is just what I need, but I`m having a difficult time for some reason.

Okay, so he's a foreigner in the land of ponies and he's a bit off on their culture. He's loyal to the ancient ways. Okay that's a good start. Maybe you could give him a love for something. Like on the outside he's got a permanent deadpan face but when others aren't around he shows some other side of him that nopony has ever seen.

I've been thinking about that. I kinda like the idea of him actually liking flowers. At first, it was because he would respect them since the healers made potions and, even though he hates himself for enjoying it, he liked brewing potions dispite being a warrior.  He sees it as a problem, as something wrong with him. He feels that he is suppose to be a warrior, and that brewing potions is not his role in life and, hence, he should not enjoy it. Yet at the same time, he enjoyed the process, and, in extension, has found he enjoys the simple aesthetics of flowers even those that have no practical use. Again, he feels disgraced by this, because it's improper of his life style.

Yeah. That could work. Maybe he could use that with his warrior thing. Like he could brew poisons and other stuff in the confines of his home. Keeping this a secret and saying he buys them from a source. I like the fact he feels that he should be ashamed and enjoy it at the same time.

Ooh, yeah, that could work. Plus, if it's poisons, he`ll probably have an easier time allowing himself to do it since he'll just explain away to himself that it relates to being a warrior. Thanks alot man. I think this whole thread is a great idea. It can help new people get thier foot in the door, and when someone is a seasoned roleplayer, if they get stuck a 2nd opinion is always great.

This was normally going to be my thing. As a way to say thanks to the people on the forums since I can't do a lot else. But you can if someone asks you to.

Usually when an rp dies, its because the creator isn't that active in them. If the topic was not that interesting, then I will help develop one with you. If its something else, than try to find out what the problem was. Ask the players why they lost interest.
