Honestly, why is the sky blue? I always thought it was because I read somewhere that ozone is blue, and well the sky does have lots of ozone in it.

The main component of the atmosphere is Nitrogen, not ozone. Nitrogen bounces the blue light around, so the colour seems to be everywhere.
