Inb4 the lecture, I know comic canon is not the same as show canon and that the plot of the upcoming issue does not mention Sombra, I'm just happy he's not been totally left behind.

King Sombra has the best villain design in the show in my opinion.

Something interesting I noticed, in the season 5 finale in sombras universe, when he puts the mind control helmets on a crystal pony, his aura surrounding the helmet is red(it appears overall like a normal unicorn levitetion) while in season 9 its black and appears electric like around the object. Obviously its a very minor continuity error but maybe we can think of a in universe explanation?

The comics have also still not forgotten Sombra, Tony Fleecs drew this for HarmonyCon.

Yeah, these are not so subtle changes, they probably made them because its easier to animate. The magical aura thing, they probably forgot they made it red in season 5, and honest;y his magical aura looks cooler and more unique in season 9.

Oh yeah, that was the first thing that crossed my mind. Sombra barely actually moved in his physical body in his debut, it's like how they draw characters with four fingers instead of five. That's what I was trying to say though, small changes like that, such "continuity errors", are just part of art evolution (and art simplification) in animation. Speaking of animation, yes, I recognize where that picture is from. I hope that Chinese animation gets off the ground because THAT. LOOKS. AWESOME.

Also, I just heard the French version of Sombra, and its totally awesome, along with the polish version they are the best voices for him I have heard(I like the English version, but these 2 are better).

I'm pretty sure I already posted that, but that was back when I just looked at it as another high-quality artpiece I loved as a fan of Sombra, not as something I loved as a fan of the artist. I really started liking Enigma once I learned that she wasn't just a great artist, but a great writer. I've even talked to her a few times on FIMFiction, and she just seems like the nicest girl I've ever talked to who's not a close friend.  Also, I absolutely love this... 

The lack of Good King Sombra art is totally depressing, not just Hope, but Amore too deserves more attention alongside him.

OMG I love this idea so much!

It reminds me of a character from the Record of Lodoss War anime. Karla, the Grey WItch, had possessed a crown and anyone who wore the crown would be possessed by her spirit. She would seek out young women to carry out her plans (which consisted of doing her own thing, either allying with or against good AND bad guys to keep things equal (the GREY in her name has meaning; neither black or white)) and after their bodies deteriorated she would move onto another body. She ended up possessing a male main character and we never saw him again afterwards.

Thinking of Sombra possessing Tempest or any other pony gives an extremely creepy vibe that I can see totally fitting in with his character. God, this BEGS to be explored in some fashion!

If you dislike Pony Life, cool. However, making not just Sombra, but Starlight and Luna too, the big three characters I feel deserve an appearance in Pony Life most this cute can't go ignored.

No joking. I actually legitimately like what they did with Sombra post revival in the show. He was one of my least favorites and skyrocketed to being my favorite villain. 

I like his lisp XD, I like that he sounds kinda gay and he's so flamboyant. I just love his redesign/rewritting.
