Yeah, I've been on Fluttershy's side since I started watching. Too cute to not like, she has some hilarious moments too. She seemed to have more of a role in the first season than in the second though, but hopefully that's because they're saving those episodes for the end of the season.

 

Her freakout in the season 1 finale was class, and I loved her stare in Stare Master. Then you have the modelling scenario, which I loved due to the fact she was basically featured for the entire episode. I like the Rarity - Fluttershy combo episodes too, they go well together.

I will also now announce the PONY FAN CLUB BANNER CONTEST!

 

This contest is simple, but as this is the first one I am limiting it to the Mane 6 clubs. Basically members of each fan club will have to work as a team to make a club banner. This must be a group effort, and the club has to decide the banner they submit to me. Whichever club wins gets a 'Award' in a Trophy Case Spoiler that I will also instal into each forum.

 

The Rules

-Each banner may only include the pony that it is representing.

-This is a team effort, try your hardest on this!

-Keep it apropriate

-Creativness/Animation will be awarded more points!

-Have Fun!

-Banners must be submitted to me via PM by whoever creates the final product by Saturday, then I will announce the results Sunday.

 

Now, to more solem news. I would like to thank everypony for giving me well wishes on my brothers untimly death. It was unfortunate, and it still hurts, but I cannot leave my ponies hangin.

Fluttershy has been one of my favorite ponies ever since I first saw her in Dragonshy(my first episode). I could tell right off the bat that she was a little sweetheart and didn't like to speak up or annoy others. I saw that she was cute because she didn't try to be cute unlike all the "cute" characters from recent cartoons who try too hard. Then when I saw her other, braver side she went right up to tied for my second favorite pony out of the Mane 6, alongside Pinkie.

I know exactly what you mean, Brian. Hinata is my favorite girl character in Naruto and the similarities between her and Fluttershy are uncanny. Hinata doesn't try to be cute either, and is also always going out of her way to make sure others are happy before she does what she wants, even if it means putting her life on the line.

no offense to you being a hinata fan im one myself but i believe fluttershy to be a more believable character she has shown she does get angry and stuff and Fluttershy isnt in love with a person who just dont notice her and then theres this
