Does anybody still have a Gamecube? If so do you still play it and what are your favorite games? And if you don't have one anymore, don't feel excluded. Share some of your memories of it

I still have mine, though it's not been used for a few years since I no longer have a TV. If I feel like breaking out SSBM or something I just toss it in the Wii. Without a TV though I hardly ever turn it on either, stupid lack of HDMI means horrible quality when hooked up to a pc monitor. That was Nintendo's worse decision ever.

Incidentally my GameCube melted a game, and now the inside is pretty much i repairable.

 I feel there's a story to that

I don't have a Gamecube, I sold it. But I have a Gamecube emulator.

I'm playing Wind Waker right now, with a xbox 360 controller

I have a friend doing this at this exact moment, same game. Except I think he said he was emulating on a Wii

Oh, but is he able to crank up the settings on the wii?

The biggest reason I emulate is because I can emulate in full HD.

mmm sweet Wind Waker HD ^^

I actually find original WW in HD looking better than the HD remake on Wii U.

The remake seems to have more washed out colors, and things in the distance seems out of focus.

Imagine the image to the right in full HD. That's how I play it =)

I don't think he can mess with the quality at all. And that HD is pretty beautiful. I'm gonna have to agree on the colors but the grass in the background still looks pretty crisp

DID SOMEBODY SAY GAMECUBE?!?!?

tumblr_inline_n0t6mpjk7l1s14usp.gif

Hell yeah, this system was my childhood! I got Sonic Adventure 1 and 2, Sonic Heroes, Super Smash Bros. Melee, Pokemon Colisseum and XD... this system was a majority of my life and I loved it to death.

I still have it today, and though I admittedly tend to use my Wii more often to play Gamecube games, it ain't going anywhere anytime soon~

Definitely my all time favorite console. Had so much fun with all the games I could think of, Metroid Prime, Resident Evil, Melee, Zelda, Tales of Symphonia, Viewtiful Joe, you name it

Best and most influential console without a doubt. (N64 gets a little too much love... It was my first console too...)

I played my GameCube like CRAZY when I was a kid. I played nearly everything, except Super Mario Sunshine surprisingly. But that game is on the top of my wishlist, when I get a GameCube. Some of my most played games on the console were: Mario Kart: Double Dash!! (Beat every cup at every CC.), Mario Party 7, Super Smash Bros. Melee (unlocked EVERY character), and Tales of Symphonia (Didn't beat it yet...) I played a bunch of Metroid Prime 2 and Sonic Adventure 2 as well.

Yes I still have my Gamecube, but it is buried in a bin with one of my N64's, two of my PS2's and a SNES. I had got my copy of Paper Mario:TTYD out of it the last time I was in it, so it will be played on my Wii.

I remember the Gamecube. That was before FPS's were all the rage :) I have very fond memories of playing games on it. I still Sonic Adventure DX and Sonic Adventure 2 Battle. I also still own games like Metroid Prime, Super Mario Sunshine, and more.

Whoa....Gamecube?   Ancient history there, lol.  However, I still have 1...........make that 2.  Including a few games like Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters, Phantasy Star Online Episode 1 & 2 Plus (Best RPG), Super Smash Bros. Melee, and Mario Kart Double Dash.

A topic dedicated to Gamecube and not one mention of Eternal Darkness, Geist or Baten Kaitos? SHAME ON ALL OF YOU. :okiedokielokie:

I think I still have my Gamecube but I just play the games on a Wii since it's perfectly BC anyway.

The Gamecube was the console I had during the PS2/Gamecube/Xbox generation, didn't get a PS2 until a few years ago, so I was stuck with it. I learned to love it in spite of it not having Star Ocean 3 or Wild Arms 3, 4, 5 and Alter Code F.

It's also the only console to have the best Bloody Roar game: Primal Fury. PF puts BR3 on PS2 to shame. I just wish I had actually bought it instead of renting it. :(

I had some pretty terrible experience with an Intec memory card for years though. The thing had a tendency to corrupt itself and need a reformat every few months. Losing save files hurts, especially when you're sitting at 98% in Metroid Prime 2 and all it takes is one more missile expansion to finish the game just before it corrupts. :(

What a coincidence, I actually pulled my Gamecube out to play Paper Mario: TTYD just a few days ago. Other than playing the previous mentioned greatest game of all time, I only ever use it to occasionally play Melee.

I have one, but I have it put away because I have a backwards compatible Wii.

I just plays Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes the other day.
