The original ones were floppy, being magnetic media on a thin plastic disc (very much like magnetic tape), but in a stiff sleeve to keep them flat.

DLSS is not as great as people say it is either, yes, it makes predictions about what an image should look like, but sometimes this fails, and when it does, it can make the graphics look horrible. I've seen it in videos enough to see it in action even if I do not have the hardware capable of running games like that yet myself. And in all honesty, this wouldn't be an issue in the first place if game developers had put more effort into optimizing their games. AI is a poor substitute for lazy optimization in my opinion.
