They don't even have to reject the "modern technology" for that purpose, honestly. I mean, what's stopping places like Ponyville from existing? Ponyville is a village so of course it's calmer, less advanced technologically, focused on a more simple, stress-free lifestyle. 

The problem is in gen5, I feel like there's no balance between the two. They just took one and focused on it.

It's been 10 years since I made an account here.

I am thinking about all that changed in my life, how I improved and honestly, how lucky I was with the fact that I've found this community.

 

And on a lighter note I hope I don't fall asleep today as I am going to cinema for The Lord Of The Rings marathon that's happening overnight :3
