What's it like to get "the stare"?

My hypothesis is that the Stare is a supernatural ability of unknown origin, which causes you to temporarily view Fluttershy as the highest authority.

I think the feeling from her stare is like the same feeling you get when someone you respect gets stern with you. Especially when they're pretty chill most of the time, the 180 flip is scary.
