So far, we've had some great movies recently such as the Lego Movie and Labour Day. But I want to know what is your fave movie from late 2013 to 2014? Why do you like them? What movies would you like to see or be based on?

 

My personal fave is Frozen. ALL. HOOVES. DOWN!

a movie made in 2013-2014 would have to be frozen, but a movie I first saw in 2013-2014 would probably have to be The Matrix.

12 Years a Slave, no doubt. Frozen is utter shit compared to it, as is Hunger Games and all that.

As far as so far this year (2014)...Mr. Peabody and Sherman was really awesome as well!  Really modernizes, but also stays true to the old adventures they went on in Rocky & Bullwinkle

Mine's already The Grand Budapest Hotel. I might actually go see it again tomorrow, it's that good.

 

I might also have to see The Lego Movie again while I still can. When I first saw it, I honestly didn't enjoy it as much as I wanted to, so I think I should give it a second shot while it's still playing locally.

I have yet to watch anything released in 2014 (I'm waiting for The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Captain America: Winter Soldier, Mockingjay p1, Days of Future Past, and most anxiously for How to Train Your Dragon 2!! Though I do want to see Divergent...

 

From last year, I finally saw Frozen and I liked it, but I'm the weirdo that doesn't care for Elsa or her voice (sorry Idina, you sound nasally AND throaty to me...MY OPINION! Everyone hates me for it! haha), I love Anna and Kristen Bell! And I LOVED Catching Fire!

 

Biggest LET DOWN for me was The Desolation of Smaug. Jackson did great with the LotR, but he's brought more Desolation to The Hobbit than Smaug ever could have dreamed of doing! TOO MANY CHANGES!!! TOO MUCH EXPANSION! STOP IT!!!

Haven't seen that many movies this year, but yeah, The Lego Movie. It just pushed all the right buttons for me.

So far, The Grand Budapest Hotel. It's really fun and quirky. It's got a ton of good actors in it and they all do a great job.

Also, you guys all realize Frozen was released in 2013, right? never mind, I'm an idiot.

 

Anyway, favorite from 2013-2014 was Frozen, but I saw like 3 movies that whole time. Frozen, Captain America Winter Soldier, and that one magician heist movie from last year that was okay.
