Hey everypony. So, my question is pretty simple: What's your gaming playlist? Of course, I'm speaking of music for those who may not have understood properly. We all have a favorite individual or list of songs we like to play while gaming, whether it's online multiplayer or during those boring campaign parts. Let's hear your list!

 

I have a pretty big list, for when I go on those 3-4 hour Titanfall sprees, but here's a few top favorites (not in order):

Just whatever's playing in-game for the most part, if anything. When I'm in the field in Arma 3 (or 2), I prefer not to have any music playing. Too distracting, especially when I'm trying to keep an eye/ear out for potential threats. However when I'm in the editor, I do like to listen to some songs from the Arma OST, such as:

It's 102 songs long so I won't list the entire thing. Generally, I listen to this playlist while doing something repetitive in games like: exp grinding, crafting items, practicing combos. Hearing in-game audio doesn't help a lot in any of those situations. Anyway, here's a few select songs from my playlist, just to give you a taste of whats on there:

That is just a short list, My playlist is around 1161 songs but these are the most played during my gaming time, but I change playlists depending on what I am playing so I have playlists for different games like L4D and Borderlands 1&2 and Skyrim, so this is just my minecraft list

I don't have a specific playlist. I just listen to the ingame sounds or BGM, and maybe I'll play something fitting to the situation I'm in during a game.

 

Though, it was HILARIOUS when my friends were watching Totoro while I was playing Dark Souls 2, being chased by scary-ass whatever they ares, with cute Totoro music playing.

The sound of the actual game immerses you properly. At least to me, if games had no sound or played music that didn't work with it, there'd be something well off about it.

 

However, if I need to focus and have trouble getting past a certain point I may put a song on. Don't know what though. I have a lot.

Well, for now, when I play Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, i hear themes such as:

The only exception is when I'm grinding, in which case I don't care to hear the same music and sounds over and over again. Then I just listen to whatever my MP3 Player gives me. (Note: It's always set on shuffle for all of my songs so there's no particular order or grouping)

Yeah this, the music in most games tend to be good enough imo.

Though I suppose I'll occasionally blast some rock music when playing Monster Hunter or Pokémon. Just whatever I'm in the mood for really.

Back when I played Titanfall I listened to different music compilations on YouTube like this one and for some reason they made me feel more epic than ever and played better
