As awesome as Japanese stuff tends to be, their metal has yet to impress me. It's so close yet so far, some of the elements are good, but overall it just falls flat on its face, at least in my opinion. I love Japan and Japanese stuff, but I'll stick with Germanic & Scandinavian countries for my metal needs.

... meanwhile in Japan. Not bad for sure, but not my taste. Too much of this "superfast" electronic J-pop stuff appeared there and I don't really like that. I will give 5/10 because riffs still are quite decent.
