Did you not see the parts where she was flying around, admitting her failures and accepting her problems to Twilight? She even apologized several times.

Not sure what they'll do on the show.  I'd show her goofing off and fail the test.  And learn from that that you do need to study.  She'd be left having to wait till next year to try again to join the wonder bolts reserves.  That would be a much bigger lesson then if she learns all in one episode.

The antics in this episode are pretty hilarious so far. From what I can tell this episode will be very comedy heavy, I'm ok with this.

Also, I like how this episode subverted the somewhat generic and expected plot it was setting up of showing every ponies way of helping by Applejack being like "Can't help you, you're screwed!" xD
