If Obama openly admitted to loving MLP:FiM, what would happen?

Would it create hostility towards us from the other nations? Would America be mocked? Would Obama ever live it down? Would Americans see it as a harmless and charming, or would they question the legitimacy of Obama's presidency afterwards? Would any and all of Obama's efforts to be taken seriously from that point on, be thwarted completely? 

 

I know this would never happen, and it's completely hypothetical, but I'm genuinely curious to know what you guys think. I'm sure most of us would get a huge laugh out of it, but in a very serious global sense, do you think that would be a career killer for the President?

 

Edit: And yes, I know he's on his last term, and right now his words and ideas mean less and less towards the end of his presidency, but just apply the situation to if he was on his first term instead. Or if our new President were to do something like that right after he got elected.

There aren't to many haters really, its just a very very vocal small group. The world couldn't give less of a shit about us for the most part. 

 

 

And seeing how he already has lower approval ratings than bush during his last year as president, I don't see it effecting much. The country for the most part already is tired of him, and his administration, if anything it would be a funny foot note tacked onto one of the least approved administrations in a long while. I don't think it would be enough to drastically change the opinion of him from either side. The ones who dislike Obama find a reason to bash him for everything he does, and the ones who like him will put a positive spin on most things. Short of committing an actual crime, it would just be status quo, that's how it always is with Presidents. Obama could do literally the exact same thing as Bush and the same Republicans who treated Bush like he had discovered the Holy Grail would condemn Obama for the same action, and the Democrats who vilified Bush would justify Obama's actions. That's why I hate politics.

I wouldn't be excited, because it doesn't matter, I say excited in a way because I like the way Obama has treated the nation. I hope the next president has such a tolerant and somewhat unapprehensive approach. Plus, since I like a more socialist America, I would too. He's quite socialistic, similar to FDR. (Mind you, socialism has saved the United States from economic collapse in the 1930's. Plus, it may save us again, but likely not. That's the Bush administration's fault primarily, but Obama hasn't fixed the economy, and everyone is blaming him on the grounds that it's still occuring now.)

Well, lets see. He's a family guy (lol), and people can assume he watched cartoons with his daughter. So the public that consists of non-bronies would eat it up, specifically those who are fans of Obama. The rest who don't care about or don't like Obama probably wouldn't give two craps as to what he likes. The anti-bronies would try to consistently start crap on 4chan and other sites, but it would die down. And as for us bronies, well we would be totally ok with it That's how I think this scenario would play out
