Shenron00 366 April 26, 2014 Share April 26, 2014 Are there emos out there in the poniverse? I myself am not emo, but I the thought just randomly came to me while browsing the forums! Do you think such irony exists? Are you one yourself? If so, then please don't take any offense to this thread. I'm just curious, and I wanted to add a little spice to the intro post. Yo! I'm Shenron00, but you can call me “Shen” if you want! Thanks to WheatleyCore for the sig! BTW, yes, I do realize that's Carnage and not Shenron. BastementSparkle 20,328 April 26, 2014 Share April 26, 2014 I can't take this life anymore, I have no reason to live. I long for the cold embrace of death. I just have to take this razor and end it all. After the season four finale, of course! Ponies come before death. 8 Twilight is best pony. Why hello MLPForums! What have ya been up to? MarcelineA 126 April 26, 2014 Share April 26, 2014 (edited) I hope you're talking about someone that listens to Emotive Hardcore OTHER WISE that's stereotypical People never understand EMO is an abreviation for Emotive Hardcore a music genre from the 80s that died out (or maybe evolutionated but if it did evolutionated then it's probably called something ELSE ('Post-Hardcore & Metalcore' does it ring a bell?) I bet like 75% of the people that claim to be "emo" don't even know what Emotive Hardcore is OR/AND wouldn't even like it why? because that's the LOUDEST music I've ever heard that it's even louder than Heavy Metal or/and Death Metal. I mean MAYBE it is true that it stands for "emotional" but that must've been made by some random teenager and it does not make sense. EVERYONE has emotions see what I mean? If you were sensitive then you're SENSITIVE, emotional? everyone has emotions! And about clothing and music? again I explained the music and also yes the clothing is sort of an evolution from people that listened to Emotive Hardcore in the 80s but it's not exactly like back then, and people who dress such in fact have sort of "adopted" some of the clothing from Goth culture and Goth my friend IS a culture it comes from back in the 1800s ._. just because some stereotypical teen dressed black and call himself/herself a goth doesn't mean that's what Gothic is all about I could go in DEPTH about that culture and the Emotive Hardcore genre as well. Also the people talking about the "cuts" and such, ok I get that a lot of them do it for attention but that's NOTHING to JOKE about again some do it for attention but others do it because they DO feel that way and those ones NEED our help instead of trashing them! And it is stereotypical from BOTH ends "non-emos": because they're judging a whole group because of some idiots and wouldn't even bother to help someone in the ACTUAL situation; "some emos": because they think it's an "emo" thing when in reality ANYONE can feel suicidal a prep can feel suicidal, a jock can feel suicidal (in fact recently a jock committed suicide where I live), a swaggish person can feel suicidal (in fact quite a few swaggish people here felt such), a country boy/girl can feel suicidal (it also happened here), I could go on... so you stereotypical people (talking in general not pointing fingers) just STOP! Mr F 1,522 April 26, 2014 Share April 26, 2014 (edited) I think they exist. Did'nt we have one on here not too long ago? Anyway, some people say I am emo considering the type of music I listen to is very simlar to the stereotypical emo. I do not dress very black, nor do I cut myself. They probably exist, we just have more drama-llamas. Edited April 26, 2014 by A CrayZ Cat (Really cool signature)

ReverseFaller 2,484 April 26, 2014 Share April 26, 2014 I know there are some bronies that dress "emo." I've met a few before. Just because somebody dresses this way doesn't mean they go on forums every day and talk about how much their life sucks. An awful lot of people here complain about their life all the time. Does this make them emo? 2 Credit for the signature goes to Kyoshi
Cassafrass 249 April 27, 2014 Share April 27, 2014 I wouldn't say that I'm emo per say, but I'm depressed a lot and the show is one of the things that makes me happy and gives me hope for the future... if that counts...? xD I shop at Hot Topic like one member said, but mostly because I love it's "rock chic" (in my case) attitude and they have cool stuff, haha.
