music I need an honest opinion

I've wanted to get singing lessons for a while but I'm not actually sure if I would benefit from them (I'm not trying to suggest that I'm naturally incredible haha what I'm wondering is whether I'm actually naturally of a standard that there would be any point). I'd be very grateful if people could give me their honest opinion on my voice; here is a 1 minute clip of me A capella singing a cover of "I'm just your problem" by Marceline from Adventure Time: https://soundcloud.com/tom-the-human/im-just-your-problem-a-capella-cover

Thanks.

Ah, a Tenor singer, absolutely lovely. You have a pretty good pitch from what I can hear, though of course I have never heard the song before, but it sounds right. Of course a better microphone is always needed, but the voice never sounds the best when it's recorded.

I would say you don't necessarily need lessons, well at least in the way of building your voice, as talent can only reach as far as it can and you've got it pretty good. But possibly a quick read from a small book or two and a couple of practicing hours and you would be good to go technique wise.
Like Cadet said above, try out some different songs, to try out all the things like pitch, rhythm, reverberate, and other small things. Finding out your genre soon would be ideal, may not be the songs you like best but they soon will be. I'm taught professionally how to be a singer, so hit me with a pm if you want any super details, I could probably go through that clip and give it a good analysis for you, so you could work on stuff to improve on.

Much better mic needed. You might be a good singer but it's too hard to tell. Didn't hear anything that sounded that far off.

It's a tad difficult to judge because you have a pretty bad microphone that doesn't record all the notes you sing. I'd suggest trying to get a better microphone, or borrow a friend's. The clearer the sound, the better.

From what I could hear, I did notice that you have a lovely bass to your voice. I think you'd be capable of producing some great vibrato! I'd keep going if I were you!

(Singing technique make a difference as well so to find a singing technique that fits you, try singing different kinds of songs. Try slower songs, faster songs, a different octave or pitch - experiment! You'll never know what you can do until you've tried.)
