CT-1138 3,184 May 20, 2014 Share May 20, 2014 Probably not. I'm not a big fan of laugh tracks, and I kinda feel like the ruin the joke. 1 Love is a most potent magic My FiMFiction | My DA | My Facebook
hawkflame 3,310 May 20, 2014 Share May 20, 2014 Canned laughter in cartoons just seems out of place. It was weird when they did it in Scooby Doo and The Flintstones. 2 Sig by Thunderstorm Check out my Rarity fansite!
DiscordedBrony 77 May 20, 2014 Share May 20, 2014 I probably would watch it. Just as long as there's laughter at the right moments.
LunaLover92 341 May 20, 2014 Share May 20, 2014 Well a laugh track would be perfect for those random pinkie pie moments! 3DS friend code5043-2024-3251
Discordian 6,015 May 20, 2014 Share May 20, 2014 Absolutely. I love laugh tracks and a lot of the time I find myself unable to laugh even when I find something funny unless others are laughing too. The only exception is if something is so ridiculously funny that I laugh until I can't breathe. I haven't been able to laugh like that for a long time and the only thing that ever managed to make me do it was stand-up comedy.
Megas 27,919 May 20, 2014 Share May 20, 2014 Depends, just as long as they don't abuse like most kid-aimed sitcoms do these days(with iCarly being the worst offender imo)
Kay Dreamer 884 May 20, 2014 Share May 20, 2014 Bleeeeeegh, I hate laugh tracks. If a show assumes I'm too dumb to figure out what should be funny, it's probably not catered to me at all. One of the things I love about MLP is it does respect the intelligence of its audience. It assumes we'll pick up on the funny bits without being prodded every other line: "This is supposed to be funny, laughter goes here." I also don't have to laugh externally to think something is funny while watching TV or a movie. I wont, usually, unless it's so utterly hilarious that I just lose it. (Strange, because I laugh a lot in real life.) Most of the time, a TV show/movie joke will get a smile or a small chuckle. The Crimson Cross 7,532 May 20, 2014 Share May 20, 2014 I think that a laugh track would actually be a good idea for a Pinkie gag... But ONLY ONCE... 2 Now with more added tea leaves! My fantastic signature made by Gone Airbourne
Rainboom Dash 1,056 May 20, 2014 Share May 20, 2014 I'm not really a fan of laugh tracks. I prefer to laugh where I want, not when directed to.
Kel_Grym 1,917 May 20, 2014 Share May 20, 2014 What do you mean? The show already has a laugh track. How come Im the only person who notices this?
Carbon Maestro 1,003 May 20, 2014 Share May 20, 2014 NO, NOT THE DISNEY WAY. They seriously add laugh tracks every 10 seconds in sitcoms and it became really annoying. Plus the background musician would be upset. 1 "You learn a lot about people when you listen to the songs that mean something to them." Guest May 20, 2014 Share May 20, 2014 I'm not a fan personally, plus I find that the humour is so varied and different jokes will appeal to so many different types. I guess this means an included laugh track would be all over the place or would neglect what others find amusing.
Nemesis Atlas 31 May 20, 2014 Share May 20, 2014 I already laughed a little at the first video. I would watch some, but I would probably get annoyed because they just won't stop laughing, it's like the producers laughing at their own jokes/stories. If I said "What comes after the banana? Your mom Celestia" and then I added a laugh track with it and nobody is really laughing, then it would just suck and awkward. HeroSparks 232 May 20, 2014 Share May 20, 2014 Probably not. Firstly because it's not a sitcom/comedy, secondly because I just find them extremely annoying and they take away from the show, like it's trying to force you to laugh. I didn't mind it in Scooby Doo but that just goes with the time period. I haven't watched any of the new Scooby Doo stuff so I don't know if they still do laugh tracks but I can't imagine it working if they did When the mob and the press and the whole world tell you to move, your job is to plant yourself like a tree next to the river of truth, and tell the whole world"No, you move." boiteporte 591 May 20, 2014 Share May 20, 2014 I personally would not watch it if it had laugh tracks. I don't need others to tell me when to laugh. If I don't laugh, then that means the show is probably not for me. Besides, I find the laugh tracks very annoying.

BayoUni2847 528 May 20, 2014 Share May 20, 2014 I wouldn't care if they added a laugh track, I guess I'm used to it from older cartoons and shows like Flintstones and Gilligan's Island.
ReverseFaller 2,484 May 20, 2014 Share May 20, 2014 I'd still watch it, but it wouldn't be the same. Laugh tracks usually feel so awkward, and forced. That's not to say they they ruin shows though. I still enjoyed iCarly despite the awful laugh tracks. Credit for the signature goes to Kyoshi

ghostfacekiller39 23,860 May 20, 2014 Share May 20, 2014 It'd be really out of place, but I don't see why not. It isn't like it'd totally kill the show It'd piss me off if they used a laugh track every time Rarity had a meltdown, though :okiedokielokie: As trivial as her problems seem to us, they actually bother her - and while I can understand how people find humor in it, the show shouldn't address that sort of thing with a laugh track. 1 He who is Positively Obsessed With All Things Rarity!!!
