Blog Notifications (suggestion)

This is more of a suggestion more than a technical difficulty, but I think I should address this either way. 

I have noticed that your notifications tell you if you got a comment on your blog, but if never tell you if you have been quoted or you got a brohoof on your blog/comment. 

I noticed this for many months now, and I think that I can suggest that maybe we should get those kinds of notifications, like we do when we make a thread.

Hopefully i'm not the only one who's noticed this.

I've seen the staff mention before that they really don't have too much control over the way the blogs and status updates run - at least, I think they said something about that. I'm pretty sure it's more of an IPBoard thing than anything else, but if it's not, get crackin', that'd be useful

I found a hook in the IPS Marketplace that might make it possible for people to receive a notification when someone brohoofs their blog posts and blog post comments. I can't make any promises about it, though. I don't know for sure whether or not it would work, and it's not free. I'll talk to feld0 about it.
 
On a more general note, I definitely agree it would be nice to have enhanced blog notifications like this. I'm skeptical anyone would disagree with that. Rather, I think this is a matter of available technical resources, time and capability to focus on this. This would be a lower priority issue.
