Under the Sparkling Sea (Illustrated Novel, April 23rd 2013)
I wasn't going to do this one, as I was limiting myself to the show, the comics, and a few of the books that turned out to be referenced in the show itself. However, I discovered recently that this book was referenced in the comics, so it's valid. Though I'm going through it now, I'll put it into the jumplinks on the side there as being in the publish date.
It also has taken me awhile to get this one, d
It has been a lot busier at work lately than is usually the case for this time of year for me which on one hand is good because I need the money because I am getting my drivers license soon and though I will already have a car (getting it fixed up now) I will still of course have to pay insurance and gas and stuff once I do get it. But it is also not so great because I have been back for maybe a month or so from a 3 month long knee injury. I overdid it on Saturday and the rain sure didn't help s
When life pulls us from the womb of ignorance, we see what the world is really like. How poisonous our world has become. The pain that it has caused. We soon understand stress and cruelty. While we were children, we didn't think of the cruelties of this world. we were not exposed to any of it till we came of age. Back then we are naive, we thought it was great to be adults. We didn't think that with the lack of parental control we would suffer, we thought we would be free. The thing is, it's the
Porter Robinson's debut album, "Worlds", is dropping August 12. This album is a landmark in Porter Robinson's career because it is a big shift in his style of music. Instead of his signature Electro House style, he has departed Electronic Dance Music in general to create something he believes is his true style.
To quote;
"'I found that the scene had got kind of homogenized,” he ssaid. “So I just wanted to cast off the whole EDM thing and make stuff that was super sincere and try to basicall

Alright, this is a continuation of something I wrote about a different time but this time it's about how things have changed or developed from there. For what this conversation concerns, Erythema is an OC of mine who was originally intended to be just a rule 63 of SunBurn for RPs where being a female would be better. She was expected to have an identical personality to SunBurn but the opposite happened. I've been seeing her as an alter ego of myself where I've been trying to understand her bette
A lot of people who are disillusioned with politics seem to have very little understanding of what it's about and really, I'm hardly better off myself -- if at all. From what I've been getting, politics seems to be mainly about engaging and interacting with crowds which is something not many people know how to do well. Paraphrasing developmental psychologist Dr. Gordon Neufeld: "engage before you interact". Most people think of this as common courtesy -- the basis for meaningful communication. P
Hello, everypony. How're you all doing? I'd like to take some time to give some info on this new blog series that's going to have specific kinds of blog entries from me.
So without further ado, In The Glimmer will be about thoughts and ideas I explore that I believe are not just interesting in themselves but bring something new to the table. I already do that in Under The Rays but here they're in much more bite-size pieces. (Definitely check out Under The Rays if fleshed out thoughts are you

I know, I know, I can hear your groaning. xD
You'd be surprised by what you can create on this thing, though! Anyways, I made this very cute OC that I haven't thought a name out yet. Actually, I like to think of the names first before I think of her talents. Because it wouldn't make since if a pony was ironically named after their cutie mark...that's just weird. lol
Here she is (Unicorn on a cloud, amIright?):
So I really love to make accurate vector mockups (through Photostop) of guitars I'd love built (either by me in the future, or by another lutherie business/custom shop). Recently I got infatuated with a build by Skervesen:
The colors were absolutely amazing, and I wanted to mock up something like it. I used their 4AP body design as a base for my own body design, that ended up more like a hybrid between a ESP Horizon III, Shcecter, and Ibanez. The headstock is also inspired by a Skervese
I normally don't make reviews about movies. The reason I decide not to do movies, is because I find that I don't have the experience judging them. Mainly because I just don't know when people act good or bad in movies. But this movie made me drop everything I did, and set me to make this review, so that nobody ever tries to make something like this again
The premise: Knights end up in a valley overrun with zombies, while trying to escord a priest who also carries the holy grail. Now, I hear
