Don't bother posting; there isn't a point, and I don't use the forums anymore. Basically I have this thread is just me being an idiot. Pretty much every point I've tried to make was vague, poorly explained, and stupid/invalid. I'm sure you have better things to spend your time on than this. If you've ever been on a MLP:FiM YouTube video you know about the "haters". If its on the Interweb, Bronies, and by extension Anti-Bronies, are there. Thing was the "Haters" were not united. However, while browsing Steam I found that that was no longer true. On Steam there is a Anti-Brony group. As with any gathering of Anti-Bronies there is an unbelievable amount of untruth, ignorance, and hate. I wanted to be nice enough to congratulate him and hope his Anti-Brony "uprising" fared well but it seems you must be a member to comment. I hate the way bronies act in the presences of haters but I woun't join a group dedicated to hate every part of the brony fandom/sub-culture. ? Normally I'm pretty lax and let the haters hate but one annoncement on there got to me: Comments weren't exactly reassuring either: Looking at how they act left to there own devices pretty much demolishes any respect I might have had. I'm not trying to slander or anything but now it looks like there going out of there way to attack brony websites. This; plus indefinitely large number of anti-brony flame wars out there and seems like most bronies, especially on youtube would be quick to defend ponies at the sake of looking like a immature idiot (in my eyes at least). what are your thoughts on this? I think we should give them there own website. See how stupid I sound?

meh, I'd say its because a) most of the characters are mares b )the only stallions on the show are background characters with few exceptions; Big Macintosh, Sombra who is underdeveloped and also a villain, and one-off characters like flim, flam, snips, and snails, limiting options severely c) there's the misinterpretation of rainbow dash being gay, also it might just be me but pinkie seems to be lot more affectionate towards rainbow but idk might just be me . as for me i don't know but a mare on stallion relationship just seems... out of place

As everypony else has said doubt they are pandering to us. Numerous reason for this mostly but primarily its because episodes take long time to make, let alone keeping it on par in terms of quality. The ideas usually aren't the most abstract or super original. It sees odd that people would think they copied them. Also the writers aren't allowed to read fanfictions? wow didn't know that. I feel bad for them.. what would happen if they did though?

Well really It's hard to know for sure. There are us; the bronies(and pegasisters, if you really care) then there are the kids in the "target demografic", the parents and siblings that end up watching as a consequence and then the most frustrating to count are the "closet bronies" in which we'll never know the true number of. And the really cool part is that every day become bronies by discovering the show or fandom(sub-culture if you care) and then there the people outside of the US having season 1 or 2 airing in their contries.In a way the haters are right it's like a virus, except i'ts good.

For me it's pretty much any time I get to talk about ponies IRL... I am bit asocial so those times are rare. In fact the only time that's happened was when five of my friends found out that was a brony and one of had watched a few episodes with her sister, the conversation was short-lived and uninteresting but meh most of conversations are that way
