If Hasbro do bring Trixie back then this should be the way they do it. Getting rid of her hubris would be getting rid of a big part of her character and would feel like a cop-out. Sure, make her a bit more reasonable, but she's not going to become humble because of a couple of encounters with Twilight.

music Lyrics I Wrote

I like it. It's message is simultaneously sad and optimistic, and kind of represents my own view on life; bad stuff happens, but we have to surmount it and keep going because that's life, and with enough determination we can overcome the obstacles in our path and find happiness, even if it isn't the type of happiness we planned on achieving. -
Things you hate about your gender?
Archi the Atmomancer replied to RainbowMau's topic in General Discussion
As a male, these are my issues: - There is so much competition, I think I have at least one conversation a day that is just one-upping over and over. It gets stale and I don't care how much better or worse I'm doing than others outside of curiosity and as a way to gauge my progress. - The expectation that I excel at sport. I enjoy sport to an extent but I don't see why I must be good at it. - Anything involving the size of certain organs or one's sexuality (gay is still an insult, unfortunately) - The usual "MLP is for girls" lark, though my friends are nice enough to just roll with it. -

While Alicorn Amulet Trixie is pretty badass, she's also slightly evil. Normal Trixie is just very, very arrogant in a jerk with a heart of gold manner, which is both hilarious and endearing. In other news, more evidence that ponies become even more adorable when you crystallise every cell in their body: As with most ponies, Crystal Trixie is best Trixie.

When an emotion from a dream sticks to you.
Archi the Atmomancer replied to SkyDream's topic in General Discussion
I know the feeling, I'm having a horrible time with it at the moment. I dreamed that my ex had stated a relationship with a complete asshat and now I'll probably be angry and resentful for the rest of the day. -

Congratulations to everyone involved in this spectacular event! What a ride it was! I was not involved from the beginning, which was a dire shame, and only started posting regularly in the Twilight vs Pinkie round, by which point things were really starting to pick up. Thanks especially to the Pinkie and Fluttershy fans, my most honourable opponents. You fought hard and fought well, and the chosen ponies of you and everyone else are equally deserving of victory. Anyways, I believe I promised an essay, though please excuse my sleep-deprived brain for any errors as I write to a fictional character. Dear Princess Celestia, The past few days have been part of one of the most riveting competitions I have ever been part of, and I'm glad I decided to take part. I was able to meet like-minded people on the forums, as well as discover new ways of looking at other people's preferences. At times some people's competitive sides flared and emotions ran high, but in the end this competition was just meant for fun. I may have taken it a bit too seriously at times, but by the finish everyone participating had helped to create a fantastic event that brought the community together. Twilight's victory does not diminish the awesomeness of the other characters we all know and love. ~Archi -
The hour of judgement approaches, friends. Stand fast by your chosen ponies, for now is not the time for doubt. I bring to my fellow Paladins of Twilight a song of elven origin, to bring us hope in our time of need: Celestia Starkindler, From heaven gazing afar, To thee I cry now beneath the shadow of death, O look towards me, Everwhite. Though we have not had the best of luck on this battle, should Celestia's mercy prevail we will be victorious! Let us make this our final charge, our ride to ruin or glory, whichever fate has allotted us! For so long have we held fast in the face of opposition; we cannot give up now! Rally behind the purple starburst standard, and lend me your voices and sword arms! Fluttershiites! Your doom comes for you! Fight with honour, and let fate decide the outcome! FORWARD! FOR DEATH AND GLORY, ERE THE SUN SETS! CHARGE!
