  1. Yes to a point. indeed I'll be using transfer papers,so any design (and OC) can go on, however some of the better quality ones, and more importantly an even heating T-shirt press. You can for instance, put a transfer on with a clothes iron, it'll also be peeling off by the end of the day. It's the same method used at a Scout Camp i work at to make our own T-shirt. When pressed correctly, the shirt will last several years -oldest one I have is from 2005, and it sees regular wear.- That being said, things like cold water washes, as well some things things on my end, will extend the life of the shirts longer as well. That's the plan, I'm trying to keep it simple. WeLoveFine has a great selection, so I don't intend to really do anything that you can just get there. Because even though my shirts will be less expensive, I just can't compete. So, no fluttershy FUS RHO DA, or Doctor Whooves poking a muffin at Derpy, While I do feel the OC on a shirt will be popular, and a lot of people have expressed interest, I'd still like to have a stock of T-shirts to sell on the spot.
  2. Right...I should have said that. Using other peoples artwork, not quite what I'm going to do. I can do something LIKE that, "I want to believe" and have a pony theme. But, not going to just take images off line. Thank you for the input!!! Maybe for that one. something more like a cartoon person sorta being wrapped up by magical misty smoke with a pony in it, as if it were a dream and "I want to believe" neh?

Might redux my profile and stuff

  4. Hi again everypony. What's this about? Well simply put, I've got my hooves on a T-shirt press, my goal will be to sell T-shirts at conventions (mlp forums, want some custom t-shirts?) Anyrate, without going too into detail, I'd figure I'd ask....what lot of shirts would everypony want? Funny ones? Cannon ones? Memes? I already have a few designs down, but would love your input. I also intend to do a OC on a shirt service. Any digital picture of them can be put right on, easy peasy. Have a few artist friends who would do pre-pose comissions too if you don't have a drawing of them, just to make it all super streamlined. So that's the plan, that's the question, what all would you ponies want to wear? EDIT - Quick note, I will be using my own designs, and the designs of an affiliated artist friend. So you can't just go on DA, get a cool image, and ask me to print it...sorry
  5. Alien is a Horror movie, Aliens, the squeal, is an action movie. It has atmosphere, and tension, and it's lovely. But it's not particularly scary. And that's the thing. They really aren't comparable to each other, the feel and emotions both movies give a person are different. So while I'll never say one is better than the other, if someone looking for a good scare, Alien is the one to go for.
  6. Alien Leviathan The Thing (1982 version) that should be a good start for a marathon.
  7. I am still around yes. As you can see haven't really touched these. They take a considerably long about of time and I want to try and make this into something more than just reviews. If you'd like...see this topic. Those reviews will take precedent, suggesting the profile is something to work with. http://mlpforums.com/topic/111957-free-art-need-ocs-for-critical-review-and-bingo/#entry3153972 If not, i'll get around to them -sooner or later-...but life is life...ya know how it goes.
  8. Ok, lots of good examples, I'm gonna give them all a recorded read through, whichever ones turns out best will go up as the first video. Just because I don't use yours, however, doesn't mean I won't ever. Thank you all! Feel free to keep throwing ponies out. They'll all get a review sooner, or later. Sorry I'm a little aloof. ~IRL editing to do~
  9. There's no rush. -you two are the only to apply so far- Read them out loud and see, My goal is to have about a 5 - 7 minute long video. so if it takes me 30 seconds to get through reading the profile...it's not enough. Typically, 1 page (im Microsoft word) takes about a minute. So....about a page and a half will do. Since I'll ready a description, and personality as well. Just flesh them out as you see fit, and of course, have fun!
  10. Not quite enough material to work with. Do you have a longer version that goes more into his backstory, and how those ponies became whom they are? for a example....-looking at that old thread of critiques- http://mlpforums.com/page/roleplay-characters/_/doctor-electron-volt-r4961 that is about how much info I'm looking for. Remember, the more information about a pony provided, the stronger a review can be made. http://mlpforums.com/page/roleplay-characters/_/kaymen-blooblood-r6482 This guy for instance. became known as "pony of the shadows" there's a story there. But,,,,it isn't written down. Why did he befriend fruit bats, how'd that all go down. Lots of places you can elaborate to really build that characters backstory up, and explain -why- he is the way he is. actually seems like an interesting character.
  11. No worries!! That's actually pretty close to what I'm looking for. However, If at all possible, do you have any ponies. This is literally the first episode, and I'd very much like it to be a pony. They are something much more established in cannon, and therefor have a lot more material to work with. If in the future, this becomes a reoccurring thing, I'd gladly branch out and do other species, such as Donkey, or Dragon. (love dragons), Heck, I can even make a BINGO sheet just for Donkies. But, for the first episode, I'd really like to do a pony.
  12. -keep reading to find out how to get free art- For the love of Celestia. Please make sure your OC profile is longer than a paragraph. If there's not material to work with, I can't give it a fair/valid review. Hello there. Some of you may have seem my last topic, here. http://mlpforums.com/topic/91344-oc-review-free-constructive-feedback/ And this will be similar. Essentially, I will read your OC's profile, and give it a similar review to what you have seen in that topic. But there's a catch. 1 - I'm going to read your characters profile out loud. 2 - My reactions to said profile will also be recorded 3- The reviews are no holds barred. Fair, both positve and negatives will be mentioned. 4 - Some base animations, drawings, and a bingosheet will be placed up on youtube. 5 - there are bonus prizes for fulfilling particular requirements. (the prize is more art) What do you get for this? 1 - The critique of course! I will give you suggestions on how to fix aspects that don't make sense, plot holes, etc. Don't worry I'm not a bad guy. 2 - Free drawing. Any character accepted will get a free drawing of said character by the lovely bluekite falls. http://bluekite-falls.deviantart.com/gallery/36014409/PONIES Sounds great! Sign me up!!! hold up there tiger...for this to work out, you're profile is going to need a few things. 1 - A REFERENCE. I don't care if it's just a pony generator.. Need some sort of visualization of your OC. A vivid description isn't awful...but gotta have some form of picture. -it's needed for the art- 2 - A fleshed out backstory, and history. If you only have a paragraph...I'm afraid that's not long enough. Need material to work with here. I'm not looking for a day by day of information, just read it out loud. If it takes about 2 minutes to read. That's great. 10 minutes...too long. 30 seconds...not long enough. Their childhood how they got their cutie mark (if they have it) defining moments personaliaty appearance. Those are all critical. IF that all sounds great, start dropping some OC profiles here. They can be in any medium, Deviant art link, MLP forums, wherever you want. I'd like to get the first one started tonight, anyone from my previous thread whom I didn't get too, feel free to apply, if your profile meets requirements, I'll make sure to do yours. If not first, then sooner rather than later. Thanks ~sky
  13. never change. be true to yourself. believe in me who believes you're a douche.
  14. I think you need to watch a bit more of the show before coming up with your conclusion.
  15. whelp, I'm drawing more and more, but not naming and naming. Still, it's nice and incentive inducing for me to show this stuff off, or else the pressure will never force me to improve. My take on an undead pony, as it were. You'll notice a lack of the traditional zombie stuff. All his organs are still insdie him, no gore, in fact, he seems pretty normal apart from being a little skinny and annoyed at something off screen. And, well, because that's how I see zombies. -let's be fair, the standard zombie of today is a Hollywood creation-, but they are far more interesting if they're just a dead thing that's alive. Which is what he is. Sure, he's a bit paler, and cold to the touch. But...well, what cha gonna do. Enjoy ~ i'll write a bio up for him eventually,,,and probably name him. Till then, He is probably up for meeting new ponies. -but not eating them-
  16. @@Harmony Cube Door to the shop was open, there was even a large sign stated as such. It held promises that not only was the store open, but all were welcome to come in. More so than that, what hours said store was open, and that, with purchase, patrons of the store would receive a fresh baked cookie. Talk about incentive "oy!" her voice rang out from inside "Don't just stand there and window browse, come on in and be....amazed!"
  17. Let's see..... yes...yes I do. If you wanna go by WWII standards, then I gots one that is quite literally a Sturmtiger, and my namesake, Skygunner, gots a flak 88 on his butt as a cutiemark. Plus oodles more. I also have numerous transformers OCs that cross over, carrying their military guises with them, like this. http://bluekite-falls.deviantart.com/art/Answerer-Pony-346576828
  18. @@Harmony Cube She was already gone, out side the window just trotting away, nose held high and a smirk painted across her lips. Not that he'd be able to see said smirk, but it was there. She didn't stay walking for long as her wings gave a few solid beats and threw the tiny framed Pegasus into the air, bouncing along rooftops till she was at her little shop.
  19. Next thing, and people will insist DJ-Pon3's eyes aren't red.

  20. It will die. Fandoms are fandoms, but they are not forever. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XJdcROXeaWc -fitting
  21. @@Harmony Cube "Oh really? wanna see? Well, I hope you brought your bits with you because I don't know if I like dedicated window shoppers." her shoulders raised again, smirk turning into a just flat out cocky smile "not that anyone ever leaves my shop empty hooved, there's always something somepony likes...........even that guy who wanted to buy my window. Sold it to him! Bought another one! Dats good business...." she had started up now, giving her wings the tiniest of flutters "coming then?"
  22. Rationally thinking here. Eunuchs are nothing really new. Ponies clearly breed, even though the show doesn't mention it, though it does hint that they poop. (and die). So it'd make sense that horsie eunuchs, aka geldings, would be a "thing" (ha ha ha missing their things...Thanks, I'll be here all night, try the pork) But yeah, if you wanna know why there exists a people whom have had their boinking organs removed, simple. GOTTA SAVE THE CHERRY, and a guy with no wing wong can't pop anything. -in theory- so you can have a eunuch guard your...i dunno....lovely daughter, and not be tempted to poke his who ha into her ha who. So while I don't envy these stallions whom have had a little off the bottom, they can, in the expanded comic universe, rationally exist.
  23. They are horridly cute. as per real ponies...well...yeh..suppose. But I think most things look better out of real life........-something something perfection etc, drawings blah philosophy-
  24. Thank you!!! I'm actually colouring it now, fixed a bunch of the anatomy errors in it, so we'll see how Bat Pony in Socks II Electric Boogaloo goes over. Not sure what is wierd with the wings? As for leg thickness, the rear legs were indeed fattened up a little bit, so good call. -cough- and knees were added-
  25. @@Harmony Cube "I...w....what...I....Fine" her wings snapped back and folded neatly up, much like a dove would sit, rumb down and front hoof out, pointing out the libraries massive window. "See there, down the street, one, two, three" each number warranted a waggle of the hoof" five, six! Six buildings down, that amazing shop down there full of more awesome that you can sauce. That's my shop, where I sell my awesome things. I even sell things that make up your name, whole section for books and quills. " Her face was wearing a massive smirk by the end of it, eyes slowly shifting over the the stallion.
