It doesn't make a lot of sense when you take in account Discord is not only the spirit of chaos but also disharmony. I also think discord being a master manipulator probably had lots of "friends" before. Still, alot of good things about the episode. They can fix it easily by saying its a trick though.

He was put in stone though so it makes it pretty much true that all his friends maybe gone then again maybe they will make a come back or even make an episode where his friends from the past come back to see him
