Lemonberry, who was still walking with Electro Dash, spotted the shy-looking maroon stallion who had come up to Electro and gave him a tentative smile. "Hi there! My name's Lemonberry Splash," she said brightly. Seeing as Electro is my only way of getting around this place, I might as well stick around, she thought.

Mulberry Twist relaxed and let her eyelids slide down as she and Gearbox swayed to the music. She felt as if the world around them had been quieted and they were the only ponies there, dancing together. She wanted this moment to last forever and ever.

(note - dancing on hind legs?) Mulberry began to slow down as the music began to grow slower and smoother. She and Gearbox began to slow down and grow closer together as the couples dancing around them did the same. Her heart began to speed up as she carefully rested her head against Gearbox's shoulder and they danced slowly in the ballroom.

Mulberry Twist smiled brightly and nodded, beginning to walk him through the steps. As the music continued, both of them began to get into the swing of things. Mulberry danced and spun in tune to the music with Gearbox, her cheeks beginning to flush. She was actually enjoying herself here!

A different, catchy tune started to play on the dance floor and Mulberry's ears perked up as she heard it. "I absolutely love this song!" she declared, snatching Gearbox's hoof and tugging him after her onto the dance floor. "Come one, let's dance!" she whinnied happily.

Mulberry smiled and shrugged. "The Crystal Empire isn't exactly the most interesting place to be if you've lived there your entire life -- but their festivals are the best!" She sat up a little straighter, feeling a bit more relaxed. "I was there when King Sombra was banished, too. The aurora that was created was the most beautiful thing I'd ever seen." Her magenta eyes glimmered for a moment, then she remembered herself and focused on Gearbox again. "So, did you like Las Pegasus?"

Cornsilk gingerly gripped the other pony's hoof in his massive one and shook it. "Name's Cornsilk. I'm from the Macintosh Hills," he stated. "Do ya know if there are any other supporters of Celestia comin' here today? We need t'get some plannin' done," he added, letting go of Addem's hoof.

Lemonberry Splash pulled her hoof back; it was still shaking from Electro Dash's ecstatic hoofshake. "Well... I was wondering... if you could maybe show me around this place sometime? I'm new here and I really don't know where anything is," she admitted, scuffing the ground with her hoof and looking down at her hooves, embarrassed.

Lemonberry stood up again and smiled weakly at Electro Dash. "Thanks for that." Regaining her composure, she straightened herself to her full height and extended a hoof. "Name's Lemonberry Splash. Nice to meetcha. Have you been here before or is this your first year too?"

Mulberry glanced up and smiled at the stallion who had spoken to her. "Yes, it's quite nice," she managed to say. Remembering herself, she extended a slender indigo hoof. "I'm Mulberry Twist, from the Crystal Empire." She tilted her head slightly at the stallion. "What's your name?"

Mulberry Twist trotted lightly into the ballroom, glancing around as she went. She wandered aimlessly around, trying to find a familiar face in the sea of dancing mares and stallions. Snatching a cherry pie off of a salesmare's cart and tossing a few bits her way, Mulberry sat down at a table and nibbled at it carefully. First impressions were very important here.

Lemonberry was trotting down the hallways when she spotted a flash of stormy gray and moss green bouncing towards her, moving very fast. She let out a yelp of surprise and tried to gracefully leap out of the way but tripped and ended up with her muzzle on the floor. Great, she thought. I just had to trip and make a fool of myself in front of a regular. Nice going, Splash.

Lemonberry Splash trotted into Dorm Room 14, lugging her travel suitcase along with her. She plopped her stuff to the ground and exhaled deeply. School was starting soon, and she needed to take a look around so she didn't get totally lost on the first day. Leaving the dorms and locking the door, she started down the hallway. I wonder who lives near me...

Hay Epic! Might I make a suggestion? Maybe Ultimate and Lemonberry might get together afterwards?

Celestia darn it, you guys! You're making me hungry! Well, if we're all putting in our two bits, I love chocolate cake and red velvet and anything with oreos on it. And ice cream cake. Oreos are amazing.
