The plot shouldn't do what it needed, it should do that what is happening made sense. In the last 13 minuts of the movie that sense was nowhere to be found.

That's the point i was trying to say, but not in such crystal clear way. Brohoof for the truth, buddy. Like i've said too, challange Sunset takes more guts than a football game. Heck, i could even say that TS is more awesome than RD cause of that!

Meghan said that Flash is not gonna be in S4, and that she's tired of people calling her liar. So no, Flash is not gonna be in S4. Of course we can wait S5, or 6, or 7 and so on and on. And developing a crush in the way i see it in the movie is just a bad thing to make belive little girls that you can bump for pure luck in the perfect knight in shining armour, and just because the boy is handsome it dosen't mean that he is gonna be flawless. And yes, the series in the past was made for little girls. But this series is different, and this explain why is so much more loved of past series. The tone of FIM is more toward a mixed audience. And they are willingly trying to keep it in this way.

You don't understand, my point is not what Sunset did with the photo. My original point was, before get kinda of OT, about how the scene IMO would have been better. And for the last time, i dont disagree about RD attitude, i disagree about the scene was made. Thats it. And for the movie for itself i can't make you change your mind about it, and i wont.

Are you serious? You paragonate scenes from movie made in the years 40/50/60. What did you expect at those time, with the problems that they had in those years. And despite this the movie that you showed in that clips are so much above EQG that even having them in the same argument is a offense to them. And im perfectly concius that nowadays Disney has lost is way, but there are still good movie. The Princess and the Frog and Wreck It Ralph. And yeah, they butchered the classic fairy tails, but they still give me more than a gosebump in some scenes. And you dont understand between clichè and over-used clip. EQG have thousend of clichè stuff take it from teenagers movie. And you still don't understand the point of my version of the Football Match. Sunset could have take it the picture that she needed and left even in my version.

1) And i've mentioned other RD reason. She's stubborn, and it would not be hard to belive that she should have been the hardest one to convince to make peace; 2) And they could'nt take the false evidence while she was facing RD again and again because...? Just because something is for children it dosen't mean that it have to be clichè. And the main series have better stories that have original twist in most of the episodes. And just cause it looks for kids it dosen't mean that have to be this way. And what should have been so adult in my version to dont show? Exept that friendship is not easy but is worthy fighting for. I think that children could learn more if we stop threating them like monkeys. Otherwise why most of Disney past works are masterpiece?

I can understand your points. But i just can't see Twilight dating with such Gary Stu. And beliving in the first bump love? She is not a pony like that. Still, is a problem that is not gonna be, cause Flash Sentry is not gonna be in the main season.

Is a mess of convinient stuff after an other with tons of clichè stuff in such easy way that i can't feel getting in to the story, and throwing in the middle all the reference stuff to distract the viewers to understand it. Read my post before it. I know that is RD way to reason, but it is how they show it that make the scene useless. If you want to build emotion you must find a reason to cheer for Twilight cause if she fail the friendship among the human 4 will not be saved. Think about it: Twilight is the one to challange RD, cause she dosen't want to listen to AJ, cause you know, RD is stubborn (Just like the original series). And she lose, and try again, and again. RD slowly see of what she is made of and in the end accept to talk with Applejack. And so the band finally get back togheter. This is how they should have done. But no, what we get? RD and AJ forgiving each other in less than a second and a football match made just for funny. And still, taking guts? She's gonna challange Sunset Shimmer, the one that all school fear (and still they will vote her as princess despite that). That alone take alot of more guts that play a football match.

This scenes seemed like unnecessary. Just made for the reason "Why not" or that other "Fun = Worthy". I can get it the test thing, but for me it could have been better if it was not among Twilight and Rainbow but more about Applejack and Dashie. I mean, i get the point, but in the end it just seems pointless cause AJ and RD made peace and we ALREADY knew that RD would have joined the group cause of this. And the way that groups is more than enough to confront each other to get the truth just made me do a huge Facepalm to how idiotic this human 4 are and how Twilight presence is there just because this move want to make of her a Mary Sue one. If Rainbow challanged each ones of the four to see how much they wanted to be again friends with her it would have made the scene and it would have made this scene almost tearjerking to see them try so hard to show her how worthy they are. But no, they got the easy way. Just because something is awesome it dosen't make it worthy. They could have made this scene shorter, instead is to much long.

Sunset get so brutally beat up, that i would watch it with some pop-corn or cupcakes. Zod is more smart, more sadic, more powerful, more everything else. It would show Sunset how a real VILLAIN act. The army of teenagers would get slaughter in the most cruel of the ways, and her minions would get such death that it pale compared to those of God Of War.

An army of human teenagers. And human that will have the same problems Twilight had when she turned human. I highly doubt that she could conquer a world with such army. Discord could own every one of them with a snap of a finger, and is possible that Celestia and Luna know a way to snap them out of the hipnosis.

Besides the elements of harmony, it still sounds quite stupid like plan. Just because you have ONE elements of the harmony dosen't makes you invincible. And shouldn't the element of magic change back cause it was in his original dimension? A coulnd't Twilight get to the portal so she would become the alicorn of MAGIC and be at least match for Sunset?

Funny! But if she's gonna be the Bane of EQG she's gonna be take out lamely, by maybe Flash Sentry with his lazer shooting rock guitar!

So, i've been thinking about this since when i saw the last 13 minuts of Equestria Girls: Sunset Shimmer plan (Well, duh, the name of the topic may have been clear enough). I think that is was a mess of plan and it has so many flaws that could have failed from the beginning. But what do you think about it? Ps: Sorry if it there was a topic with the same question. Edit: The plan thing is more about her idea to take over Equestria, who has seen the movie know what i mean.

How can i say it? Never, not even in one millions years, absolutely not, forget it, take it down from your mind, nothing, negative, nah, nope and my favorite, the man falling in the pit "NNNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo" PUFF. Jokes aside, i hope that if they're gonna make another "Movie" they should try to make something that is not MLP "Let's make it a uber clichè high school stuff". A sequel for Equestria Girls would be even more stupid than the original.

Yeah, this is one of the several reason of my hatred towards Equestria Girls. Twilight is not a pony that gets in love by simpe clash into the same dude three or more times and gets freakin in love. The romance thing is just unnecessary and also worthless. Heck, the fact that Flash was the ex-boyfriend of Sunset Shimmer is not even used, is almost like she wasn't giving a damn about it. And what about the fact that she seems to fall for the pony version of Flash Sentry for me she almost looks like a skank, if i can say it. Only because he is the pony version how would she say it to the human Sentry if she ever is gonna come back (hope not)? What is she gonna do. Date both human and pony version? That's just stupid, for not say worst word. And i must agree to those who say that he kinda remind of Shining Armor, at least in the pony version. 1) He is a royal guard, Shining is captain of the guard, but in the end, rank aside, they're both soldiers; 2) Both have for cutie mark a shield; 3) Both have blue hair; 4) And both are overly sugar cotted on Twilight, Shining like brother and Flash Sentry like boyfriend. So, i really hope that EQG is not cannon and that Flash Sentry Aka boring love interest gets forgotten like the forgottable character that he is.

You said that right. The soccer scene may have been fun to see, but fun dosen't mean that you can show it anyaway, especcially when you're taking time that could have been used better.

I know, but if Hasbro couldn't work to much on this movie and give it the right time to put the right thing and fixing the flaws, they shouldn't done it like a movie and more like a tv special (wich it is in my opinion and even in yours if im not wrong). They could have made it just like a special, or directly on the comic instead. But no, we had to pay money for the cinema and for the dvd. Maybe if they realesed it straight on dvd with the comic attached it would have work better. The song of the cafeteria was the only one that i would keep, despite the fact that i despise it just like all the rest of the songs wich sound like Randy Newman in one of his less inspired day. Probably im mad cause for me this movie had so many flaws, but just because they didn't really care or they didn't want to waste too much time cause they were focusing on season 4. Hasbro is not Dreamworks for me sound like Dreamworks is not Disney. Hasbro had at them disposition a world full of mysteries, with amazing creature and the best females character ever, and they prefered to make the movie about highschool and in the human world? And just for selling dolls? Hasbro should learn a lesson about trying to keep a footh in two shoes. They should focus more about making good movie/special than selling ugly dolls. At least i could spent my money on worthy stuff.

Say something is rather different than show it and give much less emotion. In Kung Fu Panda they explain and give a nice flashback that make you SEE and FEEL how much Shifu cared about Tai Lung, and thus making them backstory much more interesting. Here they didn't show anything. Im not asking this in a book cause it would have been pretty hard to archive. And think of the sequel. How much it would have make Shen Backstory if they only say it and not show it. For answering to your question: a picture says more than a thousends words. And again, it would have take only one minutes, maybe just 1 and a half, to show. Are you seriously telling me that they can't even afford to add some minutes in it? If so, at least work it better to find the time to give her the time give a good impressions. Cut some of the useless part, maybe some of the boring songs. It would give 2 minutes to actually explain better her backstory. And still, this is not an excuse, if you want to make a movie you should thought well about the timing and all to make sure that the villain (or how other have said, the antagonist) give a good impression.

Ok, but im not asking for all Sunset backstory in the movie i would expect some part. And there could been the place if instead to waste time for some fanservice stuff (You know, all the references) and other useless scene they could make the time. This is not like tell half of the story, here is like they take almost all of it. In the movie the only backstory we get is that she was a Celestia's Students and went rouge, they didn't really bother to give us much and in the end this made her less interesting of what the settings already have. Le'ts make an example of a villain of a movie and comic book: Rise of the guardians. He in the movie is nicely explain half of the story but it is not explained well, but is not like they said "Ah, Pitch, he is the nightmare king and so he likes to do evil stuff. Go get him guardians!", and still they made of him one of the best villain of Dreamworks. In the comics they take the chance to explore him a bit better, but still what is showed really it wasn't neccessary for the movie itself, it just explain his relationship with the guardians. Here is all the contrary. And still, the Highschool setting for me it still kill what Sunset Shimmer would have been. And still, if you make a movie, how much it would take to explain someone past? The Tai Lung one of Kung fu panda was, what, 1 minutes or 2, it wouldn't have take that long. If they focused more on Sunset insted to inserting scenes like "The all-powerful and magic Trixie wants a snack-bar" or the CMC scene in the library, wich didn't serve any pruprose at all, there would have been the space for inserting a good flashback.

If they give two flying bucks about the quality of the movie we didn't need to spend money or time for the comic. Just the fact that they prefered to explain it here and not in the movie sounds like they where planning this stuff from the beginning, wich adds even more despicable stuff. Instead to explain the good stuff in a comic why don't they did it in the movie? It would really have been hard to make it? To add some minutes more to explain better her plan there and so making her more minacing? The fact that her story is interesting make this thing even more bad. Hasbro didn't really care for the movie quality, but only for money.
