So I'm having breakfast with my grandma at a fire station fund raiser and she knows I go to cons. Asks when my next one is and mentions what happened at her last one in our old home town of Chula Vista, CA. She recognized one of the guests of honor in the voice actors section. He was just a kid then, nephew of the groom at her eldest daughters wedding and he managed to catch the garter. He was a little weirded out when she mentioned how much he'd grown since then. But then she asked him how uncle Ed was doing and then it clicked for him. He went from behind the table and hugged my grandma after so many years apart.
TL:DR- Today I learned that Scott Menville, the voice of Robin from Teen Titans, is technically my cousin.
