here's what i see in the minecraft community:
i see so, so many people creating cookie-cutter factions/skyblock/ "custom" servers and wasting good cash, eventually failing miserably because of the bigger servers taking their server population.
i also see the letsplayers abusing this infertile wasteland which has been trodden by thousands of others letsplayers before them. to date, Minecraft has been one of the most letsplay'd games in history.
plus we have the le edgy xDDD minecraft griefer groups. a griefing group? seriously? "lmao i can code in java that means i'm a pro grifer!!!! ;^)" what a gimmick.
another thing i'd like to say is the game design itself. i don't really have a problem with it, but i'd like to put in my pretty penny. the voxel design and pixelated world proves fascinating and vintage, but it screeches "I WANT TO BE DIFFERENT! LOOK AT ME GUYS, I'M RELEVANT!"
but on the flip-side, you have the freedom to create any structure/thing which stems from your creativity, or just survive and construct a statue dedicated to bob, the god of gravel. bless him.
