Hey, err'body. I'm still alive, still keepin' on. How're you all doin'?

  4. *chucks a fistful of confetti*

Happy birthday! Have a great weekend (when a birthday falls on a weekend, you get to have a birthday weekend, not just one day. ;)  )

    *sets out cupcakes*

Yay! I think it's awesome that you still come around even though you're not very active here.

Yay and thank you so much! :3

  6. I still have all of the G1 ponies that I got back in the 80s when I was 7-10 years old, does that count? XD
  7. My current ride is Major Tom the Space Dodge: (An extremely neurotic '97 Dodge Stratus. Inherited, in a manner of speaking. Hasn't exactly turned me into a Dodge fan. XP) My list of dream cars is... kind of ridiculous. Given the opportunity to get a new car IRL? No idea. I'll do the research when I get to that place.
  8. Um, fandom has always made ridiculous OCs, and they're gonna keep on doing it with or without the aid of a dollmaker. Plus, as several people said above, not everyone wants to draw, not everyone wants to learn how, not everyone is inclined toward it; and not everyone is able to pay someone to draw their character for them. My avatar came from that very same pony maker. It's a fun thing to play with, and he looks great, so. He is not, however, an OC. He's simply the Best Robot, ponified.
  9. omg did not realize how many blind bags I had buried in huge pile of mini ponies send help

Too late. Am dead. Please see that I'm buried w/ all my toys. ;D

  10. I picked up the set with DJ and the Doctor today, because I needed a DJ Pon-3 minifigure. XD I'll probably pick up the 3-packs as well, since I like the extra deco well enough to want all the Mane Six, and they contain other characters that I want. DJ and Pocket Jazz hit it off right away. XD
  11. Yes, one should celebrate another year of one's awesomeness upon the earth! Also, cake and presents are good. Also also, every birthday is one year further away from being thirteen, and that's definitely worth celebrating. XD
  12. I think it's time to break out the Bing Crosby. :D

  13. Time for a fun old-fashioned Griswold family Christmas! :D

    movies/tv The Hobbit

Love the books. Love the films. I re-read and re-watch every year. Got my ticket for the midnight show on Thursday. Going in costume, unless it snows. SO STOKED. XD
  15. Dear Guy Fieri: I think you need a co-host for DIners, Drive-Ins and Dives. And I think that co-host should be me. Love, Rusty. <3

  16. Tureky and cheddar on tomato-basil bread. Yeah, baby. *noms*

  17. *sigh* Tolkien fans can be such a pedantic lot. >_< OTOH, 5 days till The Desolation of Smaug!!! :D

  18. Welp, Giftmas shopping for Mom is done. Now to figure out the rest of 'em... o_O

  19. To answer your main question, they might be in pain, yeah. But they might not. Everyone is different, the various available types of pain during a period can range from nonexistent to moderate to "ugh, ow, this is not bad enough to call in sick, is it?" to "physically incapable of uncurling from the fetal position." They may be acting unlike themselves, as you say, because they feel cruddy in some other way. I tell ya, the side effects of menstruation are many and varied. And I think the majority of women, given a choice in the matter, would probably opt out of the whole thing.
  20. Can she devour the entire pint of Ben & Jerry's before Friday becomes Saturday? ... *looks at clock* Eh, probably not. XD

Only if I do it on a regular basis.

  21. A couple of family friends are joining us in cooking lots of food and then eating lots of food (even though we're not Jewish, we're adding latkes and cranberry applesauce to the menu this year - Thanksgivukkah won't happen again for another 70,000 years!), and then I get to work an overnight shift. Ahhhh, retail. XP
  22. Two down, four to go. Currently snarfing pizza and just collected all of VoU's Gobblegeddon eggs in one fell swoop, though, so feeling fairly content at the mo'. ^_^

  23. Starting tomorrow I begin six days of hell. The daily agenda is as follows: 1. Get up. 2. Survive. 3. Go back to bed. Wish me luck. >_<

  24. Scottish & Irish on my dad's side, 100% German on my mom's. The main upside of this combo is that I can drink damn near anyone under the table and back out again.
  25. All the gifts I've ever gotten have been quite good (although I don't care for other people buying clothes for me). The worst present I ever saw? Gift exchange at one of my first jobs, many years ago: it as typical work gift exchange, everyone drew the name of one coworker to gift, and this one dude, who was a hobby photographer, wrapped up a roll of film for his giftee. Who was not a photographer. :/
