  1. I've seen threads asking for critiques and tips remain silent too. This forum seems to praise awesome art and crappy art, but mostly ignore everything in between.
  2. That's good to hear. Thanks.
  3. You doing ok hun? We haven't heard from you in a while.
  4. From a kids perspective, my 2 kids (age 11 & 9) will often put EQG on more than FIM. I personally enjoyed the songs, even if the plot as flawed.
  5. See my signature. Firefly was best show ever.
  6. Where are these kids parents? It is not the job of creators to monitor who watches the videos, it is the resonsibility of the parents. My kids watch mlp, I even show them some fan works, but the restrictions on thier internet use make it very unlikely that they could find these things and if they do, I am right there to stop it.
  7. I am aware of pinto patterns, I am quite schooled in horse genetics. It's a matter of the combination with the unicorn tail that makes it seem bovine.
  8. I am so glad that translated well, as it was exactly what i was going for!
  9. Thanks! If you were nearby I would be happy to, but alas, it seems not the case. The stain has matured now.
  10. I am a henna artist. This is my first go at doing a pony though. You can see more of my work at facebook.com/PintosHennaArt
  11. Sorry it's sideways. I couldn't get my tablet to rotate it. The matured stain.
  12. I had a non-brony tell me I couldn't be a brony, he had watched the documentary, it's only boys. He proceeded to try to argue with me when I tried to explain otherwise. I just stopped that portion of the conversation right there, wasn't worth it.
  13. Of course they deserve love, that isn't in question. But, does that make it ok for them to claim an unearned title?
  14. I added a quote from someone against the idea to the first post.
  15. I guess it really comes down to the difference between a mother and a caretaker. Like, you wouldn't say it to your babysitter or nanny. So why would people call pet owners "moms"?
  16. It's entirely possible. We won't know until next season. (or maybe Rainbow Rocks)
  17. I've seen it more and more often lately. People saying Happy Mother's Day to pet owners without any children of their own. How do you feel about this? Does this lessen mothers day for women who actually have kids? Here is a quote from someone on a comment thread elsewhere on the topic: "Im sure your a wonderful loving pet mother. But people buy pets. I didnt buy my kids. Having kids changed my body and it will never be the same. It is important to have someone to love and nurture who loves you back even if its not a human. But you point out another difference between having pets and being a mom. You cannot train your kids to poop outside (well you could but shouldnt). You have to wipe their baby asses and then potty train them. You cannot leave your kids in kennels to sleep or go out. You have to give them your 24/7 attention and care. You have to put them in school. Teach them about life. Have the embarrassing sex talk with them. Teach them self respect and hard work. Put them through college. Worry about them and have high hopes for them in life that they grow up take care of themselves find love and succeed in life. Maybe start their own family and do It all again. Kids are your legacy and all im saying is theres a big difference and alot more work emotion and soul put into having and raising kids. That is why this day was established for US human people to thank our moms whoever they may be. Appreciate your moms. Dont just try to solicit recognition because you have a pet. We can establish you a day of your own for that. people who care for pets are VERY important. But caring for children is totally beyond pet owning"
  18. We have nothing to show that this is a permanent transformation. Couldn't it be that this was a one time thing? The power did leave them as soon as the castle was formed. It isn't clear at this point if it was them "turning it off" or it "wore off" at this point.
  19. It was done on her fingers with rainbow loom bands. That loom is crazy hard.
  20. Yes, they would. Because I have a similar shirt and they knew it was pony.
  21. In addition to his reviews of the show and fan works and talks about the world in equestria, he provided "therapy sessions" to other reviewers, with their OC's.
  22. The cannon T series is an entry level DSLR. It has many point and shoot functions too help you along until you get comfortable with manual settings. Here is a low cost guide if you want a book to carry with you. http://www.amazon.com/Canon-Digital-Rebel-Field-Guide/dp/0764588133/ref=sr_1_9?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1399486661&sr=1-9 Here are some good online beginners guides. http://www.lonelyplanet.com/themes/photography/a-beginners-guide-to-dslr-cameras/ http://www.photoguides.net/a-crash-course-guide-to-dslr-photography Those can explain it much better than I can. Good luck with your new camera! If you haven't already done so, you should invest in UV filters for your lenses. This is more to protect the lens than anything else.
  23. I own a T2i. Have you ever used a DSLR before?
  24. Other reviewers have tried that, but there just isn't the traffic elswhere the is at youtube, so they lost a lot of veiws and evenutually came back to youtube. For that to work, everyone of them would have to get up and go, and the site would have to be at the same par. What I don't think may be actually legal, I don't know though, is a good lot of them getting patreon accounts so they are getting paid to use copyrighted images.
  25. Have you ever heard of a little thing called fair use? It's a law that exists to protect reviewers and parody artists.
