  1. Family gets 2x the thanks Hehe, I'll try to go for a solid middle ground of assertiveness then. I wouldn't want to knock down any clock towers
  2. @, @@Jeric, @@DwhitetheGamer, @, @@Dark Horse, I am determined to mention and thank everyone, so you all are next Really though, thanks to all of you as well. With everyone saying such nice things it's hard to get to everyone and make my appreciation seem genuine, but I really do appreciate every kind word
  3. @@Auriel, @, @@Johnny1226, Thanks you three! I appreciate your kind words
  4. @, @, @, @, @, @, @@Entropy,[/b], @@DwhitetheGamer, Thank you all so much! I'm very proud to be joining the other moderators here, and hope that I can live up to my title of the forum's Fluttershy
  5. I wouldn't rule them out at least. It seems highly unlikely that we're the only life forms in the entirety of the universe, and I think it would be silly of me to assume that I can perceive everything, so who am I to say that there aren't any ghosts?
  6. To me, it means celebrating love, regardless of whether that love is romantic, platonic, or familial. I've never agreed with the notion that Valentine's Day has to be all about romance, I think that celebrating other kinds of affection is every bit as valid. (It also means discount candy the day after )
  7. Home all day because of snow. I'm gonna cook things :3

Yeah. Come to Canada, where it's warm enough for me to go outside without a coat. The weather here is hideously mild.

The weather here was like that yesterday. It's confusing and strange 0_o

  8. This speaks to me on a spiritual level... I also found this image Apparently there is another Eloquence OC out there, and a unicorn no less. This means that we must fight for the title of the One True Eloquence There can be ONLY ONE
  9. Dear Princess Celestia, Today I learned that even the most silent of ponies can speak volumes with their actions, and that those actions can allow them to shine as brightly as any vocal pony. Your faithful student, Eloquence Anchors is now approved!
  10. I forgot how much filling out job apps sucks... So repetitive >_<

Hey, it's worth it if you got the right job for you.

  11. @@Nari, there's a very personally inspiring person who I'd like to tell you about. Her name is Temple Grandin, she's an expert on animal behavior who has singlehandedly altered and improved the livestock industry through her inventions and innovations. She's won awards and written books, one of which is sitting on my bookshelf right now. She's currently a professor at Colorado State University, and she is an inspiration to anyone who like me is interested in studying and understanding behavior. Temple Grandin has autism. She was diagnosed at the age of four in 1951, a time when autism was so badly understood and undiagnosed that only the most blatant cases were even recognized. She went to college, has a fulfilling career, and could participate in any fan community she wanted to in ways that would undoubtedly enrich said community greatly. There are many people like Temple in this world, and there always have been. Autistic people can be just as capable as you are, they're just capable in different ways. Frankly, it is also very irresponsible for you to be claiming to understand a disorder better than the people who have it or the psychologists that have spent the larger part of their lives working to understand it, as such spreading of misinformation could be damaging to autistic and non-autistic readers alike. I would hope that you keep what you've learned here in mind in the future, and not spread such falsehoods again. There are many autistic people on this forum, whether you choose to acknowledge that fact or not, and I think you would enjoy this forum much better if you did not put yourself in opposition with them. I would like to think that this is a community centered around the goals of understanding and harmony, after all, much like the TV show that brought all of us here.
  12. My Little Pony is a very calming, accepting, and even a kind of therapeutic show, which is why it attracts a lot of neuroatypical viewers. Of all of the pony fans I've met irl, I can't think of one that doesn't have some sort of mental disorder, from depression to anxiety to autism to PTSD. I myself am not autistic, but I have been diagnosed with Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD), and will often watch the show to lessen the effects of an anxiety attack. This fandom has a lot of neuroatypical fans in it as compared to other fandoms. It is a big part of why people treat the fandom with hatred and disrespect, but it's also a big part of what makes the fandom so creative and unique, and to me there is nothing more important than making the places I spend time in within this fandom feel accepting to all.
  13. I very much agree with Randi, as you have done an excellent job with this application. I did not find any major issues either, but I did find one very minor one. As far as we know, Equestria does not have any "high schools", so it would be better to say that Anchors had just graduated from school. With this one tiny change made, I will be more than happy to approve this character. I did also notice a handful of typos here and there, so while you're editing this application you may want to do a bit of proofreading. Again though, this is a great application, and I look forward to seeing this character in action
  14. Heh, I'm not sure. Equestria seems like a wonderful place, but if I stayed there I'd miss all my friends. Maybe if I could take them all with me I would I don't really see any other downsides though. Equestria seems like a very ideal sort of place, much better than Earth really. It would be difficult to adjust to life as a pony though, walking on four limbs, not having hands. I'm sure I could get the hang of it though.
  15. I've been to Germany, yes I don't really have much interest in sports And for S6, well, I'm excited to see Starlight Glimmer again, and to see what becomes of those rumors of finally seeing a member of Fluttershy's family. Other than that I don't have specific hopes
  16. I've been in both places actually. I visited several Caribbean islands while on a cruise, and I've been to several countries within Europe
  17. I prefer the beach, because I enjoy sunbathing and shell collecting and swimming and searching through tide pools, but mountains are lovely as well. Really I'd just like a vacation in general
  18. Saying which cons I go to would say a little more about where I live than I'd like to share here And I like fantasy and comedy, sci-fi and action can be cool, and I'm not a big fan of horror
  19. Last Halloween I dressed as Poison Ivy I do! I usually go to at least two conventions per year. And other than MLP, I watch Steven Universe, Adventure Time, Gravity Falls, Avatar the Last Airbender, Rick and Morty (though I feel weird including that one in this list because it's not a kids' cartoon), and several anime if you're counting those And that one's a very difficult question. I remember deciding at one point though that if were I to have an Element, it would be empathy. I guess that would make me the Princess of Empathy then
  20. I celebrate both of those, and I enjoy them both very much. They're my two favorite holidays I also enjoy Valentine's day, as long as people treat it as a day to celebrate all love and not just romantic love. I wouldn't want for those without romantic relationships to feel left out And umm, I don't think I have one, haha
  21. It sure would be nice if canceling orders wasn't like pulling teeth >_<

The worst is when you actually have to talk to people ._.

  22. I love cosplay! So far I've made cosplays for Jade Harley, Fluttershy, and Mabel Pines, and I have plans to make more for Pearl, Sunset Shimmer, and an alternate Jade Harley costume. And that's a very difficult question, but as I think about it I actually think this past one was the most impactful for me, so yes, season five As for this question, I have a... problematic relationship with my family. I have a reasonably healthy relationship with a few members of it, and I love those people, but the rest is more complicated than that. As for some basic information, I have a father and a mother, both of whom remarried after their divorce, so that I also have a stepmother and a stepfather. I have a biological little brother, two step-siblings on my mother's side and one on my father's side, which sums up my "nuclear" family at least. I realize that this is probably not the warm & fuzzy response you were expecting, but I do have some good things to say as well. I live with a different sort of family now, which is much more accepting and supportive. I live with my two partners and my three little pet rats, and together they make up a truly wonderful family <3
  23. Well, I know for sure that I'm never having a kid biologically speaking, because of my tocophobia (i.e. fear of pregnancy to the point where it constitutes a phobia). The mere thought of going through with a pregnancy just... eugh. Power to those who do it, seriously, but it's just not for me. Maybe down the line though, I could end up adopting a child or two. I think it'd be really nice to give a loving home to kids who don't have one. I'm pretty iffy on the whole child-rearing thing as well, but I could see that at least changing as I age.
  24. Attack on Titan. I've been hearing rumors about season 2 for years and it's about damn time I got to find out what happens next! (Yes I know I can read the manga if I really want to find out what happens next. Shush) One Punch Man should also have another season, because it's hilarious.
  25. I don't really pay attention to trends or the finer points of fashion, but I do enjoy putting together cute outfits and expressing myself through clothing, so I guess that counts as at least some interest I really enjoy hiking, but I don't do it very often because I have a hard time finding people to go with. I'm hoping that will change this coming summer though And at first I thought you meant season of a TV show, but now I'm pretty sure you mean season of the year I am very much not fond of winter, because it is way too cold! (Doesn't help that I live in a pretty northern place with rather harsh winters)
