gaming Most Addicting Game You've Ever Played?
Lighting Star replied to CosmicHooves's topic in Media Discussion
Leauge of Legends and DoTA 2 are the games I'm currently addicted to But what i was addicted to the most was the Katamari Damacy series. Seriously, I can't describe how addicting it was to just start rolling stuff up in a ball to one of the most upbeat J-Pop soundtracks ever -

Lighting Star replied to Harmony Cube's topic in Everfree Planning, OOC & Discussion
@@Harmony Cube Ok here's a friendly tip: If you want to post a link to somepony's profile when you say they're name, use the following format (without the spaces but the apostrophes are necessary) [ member = '(username here)' ] This will not only post a link to the pony whom you are referring to's profile, but notify them that you used they're name in the post. It'll help people who haven't subscribed to this topic reply faster. For example if I wanted you to know that I replied to you on something, I would type (again without the spaces): [ member = 'Harmony Cube' ] The "@" isn't required, a lot of ponies just do it for some reason -
gaming Did anyone else like Skyward Sword?
Lighting Star replied to otaku4242's topic in Media Discussion
My guess? 1.) It's not Orcarina of Time so therefor it is bad 2.) It didn't exist when they were a kid so therefore it is bad 3.) They somehow managed to make a companion worse than Navi. That deserves an award. But honestly I liked it. Though the motions were sometimes frustrating to do, I expected that because that's the case with all Wii games. I liked the fact that there were multiple characters that go through an arc in this game, and the fact that they got a water temple to be good- 29 replies

Ok so this is basically pitching ideas for the plot that might go against what you had in mind, but here goes: I'd like to join with my characters Aqua Marry and her uncle Emerald Shard. I was thinking the main character(s) could visit Emerald Shard before they go back in in time because something happened to him during Sombra's rule that left him unstable and broken. Aqua Marry wants to know what happened but he'll never talk about it. She gets sent back in time along with the main character(s) and there she meets a younger version of her Uncle and finds out his tragic story. Here's Aqua's character datasheet: http://mlpforums.com/page/roleplay-characters/_/aqua-marry-r6721 I didn't really want to make one for Emerald Shard because it would spoil what I have in mind to do with him during the RP Um...is that ok with you? -
Well, Final Fantasy VII was my first video game ever, so it hold a special place in my heart. Though I actually never completed it until last year. I also do not share the almost universal hate for XIII (that I don't understand) But my favorite is XII, for special reasons. Ok, so I have Schizophrenia. It's only a mild case, but it's tough sometimes none the less. When I was younger...there were nights when I downright REFUSED to try and sleep. So what would I do during those nights? Play my beloved PS2. And I would need a game that I could place for the long hours of the night without having to worry about it running out. Then XII came to my rescue. I literally spent days with this game just doing the shit ton of side quests (seriously, more sidequests in FF please) this game had before I even attempted to continue the story, and that was only because I had run out of side quests. So yeah, XII holds a special place in my heart

I have to admit, that does seem like a very good and possible idea for an episode. Undoubtedly it would be a CMC episode. One of the three (most likely Sweetie Belle) would get it in their head that if they wanted to get their cutie mark, they would have to learn more about cutie marks themselves. So they go to the library and research the subject of Cutie Marks. Then I would picture that the episode would turn into something like Heart Warming Eve where the main characters are substituted in for historical equestrian figures telling the story of the first cutie mark.

Spike at Your Service: The timber wolves were some of the best designed creatures I had ever seen in MLP. There design was cool and they way they can break apart and reform themselves was awesome. Why are these things afraid of pots and pans? Daring Don't: I liked the part where Rainbow Dash and Twilight had the nerd moment about Daring Do

I'll make a character, but I need to know two things first: 1.) Will you had to have read the manga to do this RP? Will there any concepts that someone who's only seen the anime (all of the episodes currently aired) won't be familiar with? 2.) Will titan transformations be a thing? -

Lighting Star replied to Grapz224's topic in Everfree Roleplays
As Strikeout looked at the grim faces of his companions and heard no response to his question he could only conclude that there wasn't going to be anything for breakfast. He tried to remember if there was a place nearby that would have food. Then an idea struck in his head. "Well if we don't have any food guys, I think I know a place where we could get some. My brother and I passed one of those convenience stores in the country side that they put for hikers and campers. The place didn't look like it had been picked yet .We saw like ten infected wandering around outside and my brother's rule of hoof is that more than three in one place is a no go. So we're not sure how many are inside. But we've been to those places before and they usually carry a lot of good stuff. So if a couple of us could go and clear it out, we could have something to eat." -

"My name's Strikeout." Double Said said and he slowly stretched awake. "My brother and I are grateful that you're letting us stay with you guys." Though his joy of finding new friends was cut short when his stomach reminded him that it had been three days since he had eaten anything proper. Out of everything Book Worm threw into their backpack that he said they would need to take with them the only thing he had packed to eat was a single can of beans. Strikeout scanned the camp but seemed to see no proper food cache. He noticed the one pony who was being chased by the infected earlier was scratching at her sides. Alarm bells were ringing in his head as he vaguely recalled Book Worm saying that meant something bad. But he couldn't quite remember it and his stomach was taking priority over his brain at the moment. "Is there anything for breakfast?" -
If I were to personally make it, I would make a game with a gameplay style similar to Paper Mario or South Park: the Stick of Truth. You choose which two ponies you'd take on your adventure with you and you could swap them out at anytime (BOTH of them. I hate it when RPGs make you keep the main protagonist in your party). Each pony would have their own traits to help in battle. Like Fluttershy would have a lot of animal friends, Applejack would hit hard, Twilight would have magical spells, etc. Oh and tons of exploration and side quests to do. And at the end of the really hard series side quests you get moves/equipment for the character that the side quests were about. Realistically however if Hasbro were to make a MLP video game, I really see it being something along the lines of a 3D Platformer like Spyro the Dragon or Super Mario 64. Each of the main six would have their own different levels and each of their levels would revolve around different things. Rainbow Dash would have flying levels where you would have to win a race, or reach a goal. Fluttershy would probably do a lot with animals. Rarity could involve searching for specific things. Pinkie would be sugar fueled platformering.

Something I Realized About Anti-Bronies
Lighting Star replied to Moved to Elsewhere's topic in Sugarcube Corner
Oh they're hypocrites alright.... Like this one time I saw a person with a Sonic the Hedgehog saying that bronies were sick and twisted just because of the large amounts of Rule 34 that exists; and I'm just sitting there thinking "Dude, you like Sonic the Hedgehog. Before MLP came around, your fandom was tied with Pokemon for the biggest example of Rule 34."- 41 replies

It's summer here too, but that's only because we cut off the days we lost from the massive snow wave this winter. But yeah, we really need to start things up again. I guess two people could wake up early in the morning and form a relationship like Double Side and Silver did? We can't do anything big because Grapz is the leader of our group and we couldn't do anything without him. So how about some relationship/conflict building for the time being?
