  1. If the Steam Machine is able to play Windows & Mac games, then that is yet another machine I'll be looking into.

  2. Ugh, maybe choosing a knight in Dark Souls wasn't the best choice. Struggling to get used to that slow evade against the Asylum Demon.

  3. I've been testing this with my own profile and no success. Does the board support embedding media using iframe coding? Reason I am asking this is because I was experimenting with embedding the Spotify player into my profile. Apparently Spotify did this recently, but the coding they use isn't supported on BBCode boards. Honestly, I'm perfectly happy with the YouTube embedding, but I was curious if it was possible or not. It's not of great importance.
  4. Honestly, it's an okay feature, but it has many issues that have already been highlighted by others here. I mean I'd rather not view a profile and instantly some blaring audio of a random rap or whatever tune run into my period of concentration. I like what we have. I currently have a YouTube video of a favorite and related song of mine on my profile. If people are interested they can play it. If not they can pass it. Honestly, I think it's better like that.
  5. I don't think you need to be approved in the regular RP section. You can just submit a character and have at it. Of course you have to go to the OOC section and look for open RPs to participate in any, or you can plan one yourself. Really, it requires coordination between members to work effectively. However, in the "Equestrian Empire" section your OC needs staff approval. Just submit a well detailed profile in the appropriate section and if it is not marked as WIP then one of the RP Staff members will look at it. Of course be sure to read the rules of course in regards to how the profile is to be properly structured and typed. Just be sure to go the respective OOC sections and read the rules. You'll be set afterwards I think. Roleplay OOC EqE OOC Of course do not be afraid to get in touch with the respective staff members for any questions you may have.
  6. My childhood never died. As another person stated; it pretty much evolved. I mean I am known for having a fairly mature mindset as a youngster. Death on-screen never bothered me as I knew at that age that death was an everyday thing. Likewise things like sex, violence, and other things never fazed me either. I mean at a very young age I've lived through parents having very bad arguments, fights between other family members, being taken advantage of sexually at a young age by a family friend (not raped, mind you), living with the fact that I was adopted by my grandparents, and other things. Don't get me wrong; I've had a wonderful childhood. My family has been MORE than good to me and I have had plenty of great experiences as a youngster (went to Disney World & Daytona Beach in '93, for instance), but at the same times I've lived through things that caused me to mature at a young age. Again my childhood never died; it just evolved.
  7. Well, just because there are alicorn OCs doesn't mean they are all mary-sues. I mean, when it comes to alicorns in general they are a touchy subject; understandably so. It just takes a bit of effort for such an OC to seem legitimate in the face of the established lore of the show & comics.
  8. Well, I have a whole group as evidenced by the pic below: From left to right: Pathfinder, Spirit, Corsair, Opportunity, Sojourner My main OC is Pathfinder; more detailed shot below: His close friend & partner is Sojourner: And here they are doing what they love; rediscovering the lost history of Equestria. I have no detailed pics of the other three; nor of my unshown crystal pony OC. As I've said before, LOVE this OC. Well designed, IMO.
  9. Honestly villains like Frollo, Grand Admiral Thrawn, General Rourke (I liked Atlantis, sue me ) are some of the more intirguing to watch. It'd be awesome to a villain like that in FiM if he could very well outsmart the intelligent & powerful Twilight Sparkle. The closest we had, IMO, was Sombra, but he has dark unicorn powers so...doesn't count. XD
  10. I like Destiny & all, but I have this sudden urge to try Dark Souls again...

  11. I doubt we'd really see any changes, though the episodes she wrote were among the weakest in the series, IMO. I loved the concept of Nightmare Moon, but the execution doesn't really stand up to repeated viewings; IMO. I like her overall ideas, but I prefer where the show stands now.
  12. Honestly, I think the most appropriate crossover would be with Dexter's Laboratory. Really, I think there'd be enough hilarity to warrant such a thing, haha.
  13. I work as a loan clerk at the Whitesville State Bank; which is a small community bank with only four branches spread across two counties in southern West Virginia. I happen to work at the main branch.
  14. 1. Sombra - I refuse to believe he is dead. Sorry. 2. Grogar - The only other G1 villain I want to see in G4. 3. Chrysalis 4. Some sort of villain involved in political intrigue.
  15. I don't know why, but I fear for MLP if it moved to CN. I can't help but think the show would be relegated to slap stick & fart jokes while the rest of the show would be canned & retconned to be in line with the more random humor of a lot of their other shows.
  16. Ah yes, some Bolero in the morning sounds real nice. <3

  17. Well, spiders are terrifying, but they are NOT evil. They provide a nice form of pest control that is actually quite vital. Honestly, as long as they don't invade my personal space, we're good.
  18. I know it is very unlikely, but I'd LOVE to see John Hurt lend his voice to Grogar; considering his work as the Horned King.
  19. Good to know that my favorite band Symphony X has been working on their next album, but a release in spring 2015? Gah, what a wait. ;_;

  20. Well, I just really liked how they took a concept and essentially turned into a season long arc. I can appreciate decent story-telling like that. Of course, it wasn't on the level of Babylon 5, BUT it doesn't have to be.
  21. It's not exactly big or grand, but the soundtrack to Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time is probably the most PERSIAN sounding of the recent games, IMO.

    1. Obsolete

      Obsolete

I'm not sure what Persian is really supposed to sound like, but it was definitely my favorite soundtrack of the bunch. Favorite game too. :P

    2. Christmasy Britty

      Christmasy Britty

all I could imagine in my mind was bellydancing music
