  1. I like most of the older version of Windows, from XP to 7 (RIP Windows 7). If I'm feeling nostalgic, I'll boot up Windows XP in a virtual machine and, I don't know, play some Space Cadet 3D Pinball. Recently, I've been toying more with Windows 7 since Microsoft just killed it off not too long ago.
  2. Does car sickness count? Because if so, then I'm here too. Seriously, just to travel for a long period of time, I need to have either ginger ale or Dramamine tablets.
  3. I've never been a big fan of sweet potatoes, so Mashed it is. Preferably with gravy I also love baked potatoes. Split in the middle and stuffed with shredded cheddar cheese, sour cream, and bacon bits. Yum
  4. I live in the northeastern United States, in a friendly state known as Maine. We have more pine trees than people.
  5. Baseball (Love the Boston Red Sox) Favorite non-cartoon TV show?
  6. My opinion is rather simple: There's no such thing as an alpha or beta male. People are gonna live and act how they want. The whole Alpha/Beta Male paradigm literally serves no practical purpose.
  7. I'm a soda guy with many favorite flavors and brands. This list will be more than three, sorry OP Cola: I'm not a brand loyalist when it comes to cola. Coca-Cola and Pepsi are both good, as are most generic brands (Sam's Cola being a big generic favorite of mine) Dr. Pepper and his Clone Army: Dr. Pepper is good, but again I don't mind drinking the generic stuff (Dr. Thunder is amazing) Mountain Dew & Clones: Original Dew is a nice soda. Voltage, Code Red, Baja Blast, and Merry Mash-Up are also all great flavors. Again, okay with generic stuff (Mountain Lightning is a favorite) Most fruit sodas: Orangette and Grapette are great sodas (I shop at Walmart a lot). Fanta's Blue Raspberry, Apple, Orange, and Strawberry sodas are also favorites. Speaking of strawberry, Hannaford's generic strawberry soda is just about as good as Fanta. I like fruit punch sodas, but they tend to leave a strange aftertaste. Root Beer: When it comes to root beer, I'm a massive fan of one brand in particular: Barq's. Barq's has a bite to it that no other brand can replicate. But if Barq's isn't available, I don't mind cracking open a can of the generic stuff (Again, Walmart's Great Value comes to the rescue). Ginger Ale: I'm a big fan of Canada Dry and Schweppes. Every holiday season (around Thanksgiving), we buy their cranberry ginger ale. That stuff is amazing! Outside of sodas, I also like regular and flavored seltzer waters. I usually get either Adirondack or generic. I don't buy La Croix or Bubly because they're too expensive and I don't drink seltzer all the time.
  8. Yes, and they're from an extremely strong prescription. I have severe astigmatism in both eyes (can't even wear contacts because of it).
  9. If you know the gift-giver won't react well or you are uncertain, then it's best to not say anything. Just accept the gift, give a nice smile, and either give it away or exchange it for something else later on. If you know the gift-giver will be understanding, then be honest (not mean, just honest). I had to do this in the past when my grandparents got me some clothes that were too small. They were understanding and gave me the receipt so I could exchange them.
  10. The first computer that was mine exclusively was an old beige Windows 2000 PC from (if memory serves me correctly) Gateway. Before that, I remember us having a Compaq Presario Windows XP PC that was used mainly by my parents.
  11. I prefer my steaks to be between medium-rare and medium. Anything more well-done chews like shoe leather. A nice and juicy medium-rare steak is more appetizing to me than a slab of beef leather.
  12. My family isn't perfect, but I love most of them. I'm not going to call out any people in particular, but I'll say that several family members have issues with drugs and alcoholism.
  13. I've used a knife to prep fish before, but I've never owned any firearms. Same Question
  14. The Kitchen, because that's where all the yummy food is. Favorite Halloween costume?
  15. It has its uses and can be funny when used appropriately. What do you think of dark humor?
  16. Minecraft, Garry's Mod, Cities: Skylines, and the Mass Effect trilogy. Same?
  17. Goblet of Fire Favorite wintertime beverage (eggnog, hot cocoa, hot cider, etc)
  18. All of the Above should be an option. I'm not picky when it comes to how I'll eat potatoes. Whether it be mashed, baked, or fried. I love potatoes!
  19. Back when I was fresh to the fandom (circa 2012 ~ 2013), I used to get extremely angry when people would talk smack about my interest/activities in this fandom, to the point of getting in their faces and yelling back. But nowadays, I don't really care.
  20. I love butter chicken! You've been gifted a plain cheeseburger and are offered your choice out of any condiment from anywhere on Earth, what condiments do you put on your burger?
  21. A few months ago, I endured two weeks of having this kind of nightmare over-and-over again. This is a basic description of my dream, pulled from my dream journal. It would start with me in my normal environment, usually sitting with my mother and her caregiver in our apartment, we're watching TV, then an alert comes on over the TV and on our phones, it was a national alert warning of an invasion affecting almost every state on both the East and West coasts. Then, after the alert, the power would go out and I'd start hearing the high-pitched hum of jets outside. Then I'd hear explosions and people screaming outside. Around this time in the dream, I'd run outside only to see planes flying overhead with soldiers jumping out of them, parachuting to the ground. The dreams always ended with us being killed by the soldiers, each with no personal traits, their faces covered by masks.
  22. My last can of Dr.Thunder, so I could quench my mighty thirst
  23. I don't have any favorite memories from this week since nothing of particular interest has happened so far. Have you played any of the Mass Effect games, and if so, who's your main romance?
