    Ewww underage shipping. How could you put such a young rock as Tom with Boulder?! The best ship IMNSHO is Rarity's Parents. They're so cute together as they go off on their so short vacation. Second best Twilight's Parents. Especially in Twilight's first day. That comic is Dawwwsome! Third best the odd couple of Vinyl and Octavia. They're such an odd "odd-couple" that it's quite cool. [though I prefer this ship to be vague; they're roomies, or friends]. Way down on the list is Cadence and Shining Armor. Though I await more from them that shows their chemistry together.

    I will argue that Sombra didn't die per se because he was like a spirit already, merely put to rest type o' thing. So, as for on screen deaths, no. Off screen deaths, sure. I wouldn't mind a heart-wrencher or two dealing with death as long as they're tastefully optimistic at the end. (you know a comforting hug and whatnot) I totally think that the show finale should have a passing from Celestia to Twilight with a severe implication of death [though maybe just transcendence into light].

    If you want to over analyze this episode then I'd say it's because Pinkie knows you can't get rid of family, and is afraid of abandonment by AJ (and everypony else). Oh sure she's happy, but she doesn't seem to feel like she has much intrinsic worth. She seems to identify (rightly or wrongly) with Maud.

    Good to see you posting, and while you are right that there are probably more haters for either of these two mane 6 than any others. (not meh-ers, but actual haters) I think that most of us feel that Rarity is a great character [about 150ish I'd bet] but of all the voters more prefer Rarity to Flutters. Look at it this way. I don't think anybody hates Discord (I might be wrong) and Rarebare got over 100 votes there. I voted for Discord there and Here I am happy that my 4 fave ponies (Discord is no pony) have gotten to the semis. Let's celebrate a good run and hope she gets 3rd if the voting causes you stress, feel free to TOTALLY opt out. Stressing out is Sooooooo last decade's fashion. This years fashion is calm fluttering.

    Pinkie merely left out the time travel aspect of her first party. The particles from that improbable act caused the universe to exist. Celestia has ruled improbability drives illegal since that very day.

    I think Rarity is probably the most mixed. There are a ton of absolute crazy for Rarity Bronies. And an equal ton of Bronies who don't like her. Although Applejack may be the most mixed in a totally different way. I don't think many actually dislike her, but she's kinda too perfect at times for a main character. This makes her a middle muddle. As for me, I think Rarity is a hoot. There would be a ton of things that I would see myself doing with her that would be fun. (going to art museums etc.,) As for AJ I could see myself doing chores with her, or having her as a personal trainer. [i fear Dash'd push too hard for my tastes]

    I think Rarity would act as she had when Fluttershy purposefully messed up in green is not your color. She'd be the first to applaud. Then at home; Draaama Queeen (because she loves the attention)!

    Rarity hasn't heard from Obsidian Sky after her disconcerting post. At what point should we do something?

    I'm not sure how powerful he actually is, there may be a bunch of illusion in his magic. Remember that with all non-alicorn pony magic and his magic, Tirek still could not steal Twily's ubercorn magic. Unless the power absorption is quite inefficient, that indicates that alicorn magic rivals discord's. One of my headcanons is that Discord has very little control over his magic. "I want something to happen to the sun and moon" he says, "that's cool" he thinks. This would then make comparing his power a semantic argument. And though they are individually less powerful, the force of McGuffin is never to be underestimated.[evidently it's by far more powerful than all the PONEZ and Discord.] Making Twily the most OP. But having him lose in a fight that is on his terms seems a little weak. What if Greedo shot first though? Or he's Sleeping on the moon. The Princess is in another castle. Or more likely Celestia doesn't want the job assigned to a troll. So don't fret, keep chaotic and flutter on.

    Most people would peg me as Twily, but I think that I'm a 55% Pinkie, 45% pinkamena type. Vanilla pinkamena, not axe-wielding.

    Maybe a touch of growth, but he's quite fine with his randomness annoying AJ. (Not that I don't like AJ, but it's a benchmark of dishonesty/chaos/whatnot)
