  1. absolutely not. i'm already a very angry person, last thing i need is that but with testosterone. also it would kinda feel like incest either way ngl.
  2. Yeah, I'm gonna have to agree with all the pewdiepie answers. Pewdiepie's popularity is a fucking enigma to me, because there was a point in time where damn near everyone who knew who pewdiepie was hated him. He was very often criticized for his loud and crass sense of humor, his fanbase and their annoying groanworthy references, and the honestly kind of cynical way he ran his channel at the time. You know what's changed between now and then? His channel isn't a primarily gaming-focused channel anymore. He's now the largest and most celebrated Youtuber on the platform. That's basically it. I don't think his popularity is just confusing, I honestly think it's insidious. Because here's the thing, his sense of humor now is loud and offensive, it always is and always has been, but his actions lend credence to the notion that it's more than just a sense of humor. He's landed in hot water more than a worrying amount of times over racially insensitive jokes and remarks, has notably promoted and hosted far right content creators on his channel, and proceeded to cast doubt on any media outlet who reported on any of this. This is what I find insidious about his character and his popularity. Nobody ever holds him responsible and he doesn't hold himself responsible. The closest thing you can expect is he puts out a scripted apology video before going right back to what he was doing before and inevitably landing in hot water again. The largest creators on the platform promote him unquestioningly and always jump to his defense when his newest controversy comes up, and the few times someone does criticize him or hold him accountable they usually get bullied for doing so. He has probably one of the most toxic fanbases around. You can argue day and night over whether or not pewdiepie is actually racist, far-right, or whatever the case may be, but even if completely by coincidence, he is very popular with racists and the far-right, and he hasn't made any genuine gesture to denounce them.
  3. I mean, kind until you read his post history and see all of his bitching about LGBTQ+ ppl being "social manipulators" or whatever the hell.
  4. Ok, then what separates an infuriating effeminate man from a non-infuriating effeminate man? Provide examples.
  5. Side note: If you're concerned about "the mark of the beast" but not concerned about the culture of praising wealth hoarding billionaires like Bill Gates and Elon Musk, you're a hypocrite.
  6. Nightwish has been my favorite for as long as I've been listening to metal, so they have a special place in my heart. As for what I've been listening to the most recently, Judas Priest and Blue Oyster Cult.
  7. Of all the reasons you could be opposed to microchipping, religious reasons are the most irrational. You're delusional if you think the mark of the beast holds any real world parallels in microchipping.
  8. Not too jazzed about seeing one of my few friends on here banned.

  9. i'm feeling extremely depressed rn
  10. Feeling so clean like a money machine.
  11. >Not right wing >Not republican >Likes Trump and actively supported him Ah yes, the not-right winger who hates republicans and yet (presumably) voted for one and supports right wing policy.
  12. Just saying. I don't play nice with Trump supporters and right wingers and I'm not interested in doing so considering they spent the past 4 years being a relentless mob of annoying NPCs who refuse to shut up about their great supreme leader. And in my case I'm also bitter over the relentless transphobia from the right that Trump's election has only emboldened.
  13. I'll accept those who disagree with me when they stop calling me a man in a dress. So far that streak of nonacceptance has been going on for nearly a decade now so here we are.
  14. If only Trump supporters hadn't spent the last 4 years taunting anyone who wasn't a mindless shill for the president. If only Trump supporters hadn't spent the past 4 years emboldened to post slurs and slander about various minorities. If only using annoying emojis at the end of every sentence was against the rules. And if only it wasn't extremely satisfying giving you lot a taste of your own medicine.
  15. Wild. If only Trump supporters had that same "we should just respect each others' opinions" energy 4 years ago.
  16. Damn that's crazy Didn't you very vocally support Trump a week or so ago?
  17. I think it should be allowed within the rules. After all, you can't really have friendship when someone thinks your identity and rights are up for debate. Problem is it's not within the rules, and most of the stuff that was posted in the dedicated section wasn't within the rules either. Hopefully we'll get a more tightly moderated section for serious discussion later on down the line, but today's not that day sadly.
  18. It honestly feels like the "no politics" rule is just a suggestion at this point.
