The fight scene was absolutely one of the best I've seen in a while. They were clearly taking a lot of cues from Dragon Ball Z with it and it paid off in totally epic proportions. Clear DBZ influence with their new powers too (they all went Super Sayian, Dashy's mane was practically Goku-esque!) I hope they give us another battle like this next season, who knows maybe the show will turn into a battle series where they spend 3 episodes pointlessly discussing the battle and 1 episode actually fighting.

I don't think the show should go any "darker". It's at the right balance just now, I feel. What I would say, is maybe we can get an extra villain episode or two, instead of them being mainly confined to season openers/finales. An extra episode or two with a reasonably threatening villain throughout the season would add an extra spice to it, and maybe throw in a 2 parter mid-season and again, not just opening and finale for a 2 parter.

Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy are pretty much a tie for me...but either one edges it depending on the episode. They're both quite a bit like me; a lot of the time I'm quite quiet and shy , but I also have a side of me where I just do really daft things in public . After those two it's definitely Dash, then Rarity, Twilight and Applejack. I like them all, but I do kinda wish they'd give Applejack a bit more to her. I think she's slightly behind the rest of the Mane in terms of personality (but again I do like her!)...also think she's probably the cutest of them at times (can understand why Trenderhoof fell for her )

Totally agree that if there had to be someone for a Mane 7 that it should be someone who's already appeared and that Trixie is best candidate. I mean, with Twilight becoming an Alicorn it's upset the balance of 2 earth, 2 pegasii and 2 unicorns since she's not just a unicorn anymore. Trixie could balance that out again. Only other option I think they could have is that instead of creating another element and having to force that in they could have someone who represents an entity entirely seperate from the elements of harmony, but one that they need to join forces with to defeat a really powerful evil.

I'd like for some of the secondary characters to feature a bit more. Maybe some team up style episodes (haven't read any of the comics yet so if these team ups have already been done, then, my bad!) A Discord/Fluttershy episode maybe about them having one of their tea parties and Discord struggling to not just make everything crazy the way he likes to A Dashy and Derpy episode where they've got a job to do and Derpy keeps messing it up. (basically an extended version of the scene in The Last Roundup), and Dash gets a bit mad at her and upsets her. Derpy then does somethng accidentally awesome to make up for it all. A Twilight and Trixie team up. Definitely want to see at least one of the Crusaders get their cutie marks, think this would be better than all of them at once because it could create a bit of jealousy for an episode and it's unlikely that they could do a single thing together that would get them ALL their cutie marks. Need to see some of Fluttershy and Dashy's family! I refuse to believe that nobody doesn't love Fluttershy enough to come see her *EDIT: Ooh, for a new villain I want a "dark" version of the Mane 6, the same way you got "dark" versions of the Power Rangers or Powerpuff Girls and numerous other teams.*
