I'm on a similar boat. I liked the original series, but mostly because it was a trainwreck and watching it unfold was hilarious. The Rebuild movies, 2.0 specifically, have completely changed my mind on the franchise. All the problems I had with the original aren't present and I love the new direction of the story.

A lot of user maps are actually cool. People figured out how to make decent ones.Also, vanilla rooms consist of only the default maps, so there you go.

I've always jumped ship from forum to forum whenever one dies. My longest stay for one was like three years or something, so I don't have as much of an attachment to 3DS as you guys. If it does go under, I'll just chill over here until this place burns out. -

The problem isn't really the first time you read the rules. It's when you need to go back and check them in the future, especially if there's an update. Another solution would be if you edited the PM a bit so that it helps direct new members to the bottom right of the page.

They're fine where you currently have them, but I'd recommend also putting a sticky for them in Welcome or something. The small text in the bottom corner is pretty easy to miss and I'm positive that most of the people who signed up here never bothered to check it.

Wish I had a real picture to upload, but I've had a cairnoodle for the past eight years. The dog is selfish, manipulative and extremely unfriendly yet I somehow love him to death. He's actually sleeping at my side right now.
