"Well I can't really say that I'm used to somepony telling me that my flanks look nice. I mean, I know I'm expertly groomed, but most ponies don't usually point out the fact that they are staring at my backside. After all, it is rather rude to peek without asking you know," she giggled back as he commented on the blush. "And while I thank you for the offer, I couldn't possibly ask somepony else to do that for me. Part of the reason I can keep my designer lever prices affordable is because I find all of my gems myself. It is my special talent after all, though some would argue that it's the dress making itself that's my talent," she replied. She soon looked up though when he asked if she would like a preview of the gala. He tipped the front of his fedora to her. She knew what he meant, her only thought was if they would have time for a short dance before they had to leave. They were already running a bit on the late side. "Hmm... well as long as we made it quick I suppose we could. I am already running a bit late, and the line to get is us already long enough usually," she smiled before moving up to him.

Rarity was rather surprised that the stallion already seemed to have a suit prepared, but it made much more sense when he said that he had already been invited to the Gala to entertain for the evening. When he said this, the cognitive wheels inside Rarity's mind began turning in attempt to figure out what else this pony could do on the side other than being a courier. Whatever it was though, it paid well. The suit that Draco pulled out and put one was nothing short of miraculous. The charcoal and slate pinstripe pattern that ran down the length of the suit created an appeal that would certainly not go unnoticed, and the scarf was the perfect accent shade of brown for the suit. The key to the entire thing though was the crisp clean, fedora that Draco wore on his head. A symbol of status in it's own right, as very few could pull off a fedora and do it well. She blushed a bit though when he complimented her eyes, and even more so when he completed her flanks. The very notion that he took the time to compliment her on them meant he was looking at them. Of course, it wouldn't be the first time that somepony had sneaked a glance at her hind quarters, but this was most definitely the first pony whom openly owned up to it. "Well... thanks I guess. I suppose I do kind of work out around here. Being a fashonista is a lot of hard work, and even more so because I usually find all of my gems myself. So I do go on some hikes every now. That is, as long as the trails that I'm going down aren't muddy, dirty, or just completely disgusting to try to navigate," she admitted. "That being said, your suit is simply Brisant. I'm sure that it will be the talk of the Gala!" she boasted with a smile.

Rarity let out a quick smile when Draco mentioned that nothing was broken except his pride. When he got up to inspect the damage, he seemed astonished as to the amount his little old self could cause and handed her a bag of bits. He said it should be enough to cover the cost. "Oh don't worry about it, I was wanting to put a new skylight in there anyway. You just gave me a reason not to procrastinate any longer. A habit that I've been seeming to get into a lot more recently... I had been planning on making a new dress for the Gala tonight, but I got so behind in my work that I completely forgot about it. Although it was unfortunate, the timing of your crash through my roof couldn't have been more perfect, as it gave me the perfect idea of what to wear!" Rarity said zipping behind a portable screen briefly to put on the crimson dress she had though about when Draco had crashed. As soon as she got back out from behind it, Draco said that he had the gem that she had ordered, but he had to fight Prince Blueballs for it. She couldn't help but giggles at the name. "I'm surprised he didn't have blue balls by the time the Gala was over last year. I wants to stomp them into the ground he made me so angry. Brought out completely the worst side of me, and I wasn't very ladylike at all for most of the night," Rarity shuddered from the memory Rarity quickly signed the document and put the diamond in a chest for safe keeping. It was the focal point of a new dress she was going to be working on. "And don't worry about how long it took. I probably still won't be able to actually start on the dress design for another week yet, as I have another order that I have to start working on tomorrow. That being said," she looked out to the Ponyville Clock Tower. "Do you have any plans? I really need to be leaving for the Gala and perhaps some company would be nice?" she told him, in a round about way asking if he wanted to go as well. She had plenty of formal suits that he could wear to the event.

"Oh what to wear... what to wear!?" Rarity panicked as she zoomed around her boutique trying to figure our which dress she wanted to wear to the Grand Galloping Gala. She had been so busy with orders the past week that she completely forgot about finishing her own dress for the event. "Oh Opal, how could I have been so careless and unorganized as to let myself get caught up in such a monstrous order to fulfill that I didn't even have time to make a new dress for the most important event of the year? Only the best of formal attire is permissible!" Rarity proclaimed. "Although, if the last time was any sort of reference as to what tonight is going to be... I can't really say that I'm looking all that forward to it. But I can't really not go, especially with one of my biggest clients also being in attendance," she said finishing her though just before she heard a loud crash and then found a familiar red pegasi in her bedroom. She stood here with her mouth agape for a moment as she took note of the hole that was now in her roof, and the courier groaning from landing at a very awkward angle on his back. Rarity shook her head for a moment to regain herself before moving over to the courier. "Oh my... that sure was a nasty spill. Is everything alright? Nothing broken, or sprained perhaps?" she asked him. So far, this night wasn't proving to be any better than last years Gala. At least last year all the destructive events waited until she was actually at the Gala and not just preparing to go to it. That being said though, seeing the red pegasus like that made her instantly think of a dress to wear, made from a shimmering Crimson fabric made with a ruby lining around it's collar. "That is perfect! Now, if only I could remember where I put that one. You are okay right?" she asked the pegasus again. She had assumed so as she'd seen Rainbow Dash do this very thing at least three times a week at Twilight's library's and be fine.

It is highly recommended that characters are placed in the database, for if nothing else, consistency. If you are needing additional fields for a character that's non-pony related, create a list of everything that the character needs, and everything that's not covered by the current application form would be placed in the "Other" section. Something else that you could do though, if you'd rather not use the database, is use a blog page for the character sheets to where you can use whatever form that you need. Or you can simply include it in the OOC topic for that Roleplay. All of these are available options, just as long as there isn't a separate OOC topic dedicated to just the characters only. It's already difficult to keep track of Roleplays in the area as it is. (Though change is coming to make that better.)

Perspectve is a big thing in art. Big Mac is most certainly bigger than Applejack, however, perhaps his a bit farther away in the banner than we are able to tell, as this banner has tricky depth percetion.

Well, something to keep in mind here is that the earth itself is orbiting the sun, and orbits in an elliptical, so it actually makes sense that the sun and the moon would be in different parts of the sky during the orbiting cycle of the the earth. Now, I know that there have been several things going on recently that's affected the rotation. (the japanese earthquake a couple years ago did speed it up) I believe that this is just a natural cycle of the earth, we're just aiding the process.

The beginning of this backstory is considered excessively dark for many reasons. I'll take a moment to clarify those with you now. While Equestria does have darker themes, it's not that dark. Also this wouldn't fly at all regardless, unless this entire structure they had would block dreams then Luna would know about everything that went on from her dreamwalk. And I severely doubt that Princess Luna would not tell her sister about such injustices and especial a coupe arising in one of the cities in her empire that willing subjects colts and fillies to such torture. And the only time we've heard of a takeover as hostile as the one that you mention about the city is Sombra over the crystal empire. These Stallions are not Sombra and are not possessed with a magical darkness, so unless they actually killed the pony in charge, which is a major, no go. Then the overtake couldn't have happened. This is a no go and must be re-worked. This would not be as bad of an issue if the situation applied to your character only, and not an entire city. That is a major no, so you'll have to figure out another way that the orphanage lost funding. A coupe, and government taking the funds from them is a no go. The underfunded orphanage, on the other hand, is not a problem. The rest of the backstory is fine after that, but really it's that paragraph that's the issue, and the fact that it doesn't just bring torture you your character alone, and the actions in general don't really fit with anything other than super villains in Equestria, which those to stallions are not. I understand that it's difficult to have to make changes to a character to fit a setting. Even my character is heavily toned down for this setting, so we are all subject to these rules. Please change this so that your entire home village isn't subjected to such torture and change how the Orphanage lost it's funding. Once this is completed we will re-evaluate the character.

I have actually been playing this game a good bit recently and it is really fun. For players that are used to playing Lol, this is very similar, yet very different at the same time, which makes it easier in some areas and harder in others. I personally enjoy it a lot, and I found a cooldown red build for Ao Kuong that is devastating, (I can keep his tornadoes sustained almost indefinitely)

Character has been moved out of the approved section at the request of it's play so that they could update it in compliance with the new lore as seen in the show.

A character that you have described would be perfectly allowed in the regular Roleplay World, as there are no Canon rules or stipulations to go off of. you can create whatever you'd like to be able to participate, Depending on how you toned down the power though, the split personality think would also be an interesting idea for a EqE character, but it would take some work. Otherwise, yeah, characters like that are fine in the normal database. Just make sure to read the individual rules of each roleplay before posting in them and make sure the own of the RP accepts you into it before doing so! See you in the RP world.

As awkward as it may be, the only way something is going to be truly private would be if it is via PM. The RP world however, is full of people looking to roleplay. It probably wouldn't hurt to create an OOC topic there just to let people know you are interested. As long as it's taking place on the forums, it's not really an issue. (PM is still considered on the forums to me.)

I chose my avatar and my profile pic because Ice Storm is my character and a semblance of me. I would be half the pony I am today if she wasn't nagging me for little things in the back of my mind, and she's been there to help me through a lot even though she's been through a lot. She's also the first Pony OC that I've created, and honestly the only one that I play with any regularity. I have another, but I just can't connect with her like I have Ice Storm. This is why my profile up to my name, is dedicated to her.

A while back we had some issues with new members coming to the forums and immediately start doing whatever they wanted in the Roleplay section without taking the time to stop and look at the rules of the section. So many RPs were being derailed or outright destroyed, so the minimum was initially created to make sure that the users could follow community rules prior to joining the RP section. I understand where you're coming from though and it is annoying to those who come here soley for RP purposes. I know this from experience because I myself was a member that when I originally joined, I only joined for Roleplay. However, I've been pushing more for a community feel lately, and new or not, all members are a part of it. We still expect all users to read and follow all rules for all sections of the site that they wish to partake in. So keep in mind, we won't be lenient on members because they are new. All members, new and old will be expected to know the rules and to follow them. RP world, now considered open to all.

Well, think about it this way. If he's being patriotic, and the nation he's being patriotic for is Equestria, then items that would be patriotic to America wouldn't really apply. The idea of patriotism is showing support of one's country. That being said, his cutie mark would be something related to that. The Equestrian Flag itself is an option, but there are many symbols in Equestria that show patriotism. Any one of those could work for the Cutie Mark. The flag is only but one, and you have options from the spinning sisters, anything seen from the stained glass in the windows of the Castle can be used to show that. And we've seen multiple panes with multiple symbols and pictures to select from.

Hello there and thanks for showing interest in the Equestrian Empire Section! I'll gladly answer all of the questions that you have regarding this section. Yes, all you need to do is submit your character idea in the Unapproved section. That particular roleplay section is show canon though, so all of the rules that are in place for characters are there to ensure that they meet the requirements that would be seen in the show. You can find all of these rules here. http://mlpforums.com/topic/66334-original-character-rules/ WIP Means Work in Progress. Simply put, if your character isn't quite done and you still have adjustments that you want to make, then you can place that on the character while your finishing it. We will not assess WIP characters unless we spot something that immediately stands out as a violation. Right now, a bit longer than expected because we are short handed, but usually no more than a week or two when we are operating at full potential. Also, applications will never be outright denied. We will make comments on the character to say what things need to be changed to fit show canon, but we will never strait out deny a character. We will comment on the character in the database itself and then move it to the appropriate section once it's been approved. All characters go through a 2 step screening process. One member of staff looks at the character, and if they don't see anything wrong with the character, they move it to this section where a second member of staff looks at the character again to make sure that nothing was missed.
