    I get that way with music sometimes. I'll hear music from Aviators, Mandopony, Forest Rain, ect and think "There is no way i'll ever be as good as them. Why bother? " It really kills my motivation to keep producing music. I try to not think about it though. It's best to try and enjoy others work for what it is, instead of comparing it to your own

    Video game music tends to effect me that way more than other kinds of music. Especially the music from Chrono Cross......it's so beautiful

    I have my laptop set up in my dinning room, directly across from the TV in the living room so I can watch TV while i'm at the computer. Or so I can access my computer through my Xbox (still trying to get that to work.....). I also have a Yamaha keyboard connected to the laptop for musical purposes

    Pretty much everything needs improved where I live. Lots of crime, not enough police officers, lack of jobs, pot holes all over the roads, and lots of homeless people everywhere. What's bad is there are all these problems here, and I don't even live in the worst part of Columbus

    Thank you! Yep, that was the plan. I still don't know if it will happen, but we'll see Thanks I understand what you mean. Instrumental music can express emotions, and capture the imagination better than vocal tracks a lot of the time. The only reason I wanted to add vocals to this is because it would be something new I have never tried before

    My favorites are Final Fantasy 1, Legend of Zelda, and Blaster Master. Unfortunately, my NES quit working recently

    I don't know anything about designing games, but your analysis seemed very accurate. Super Metroid is one of my favorite games, and you pointed out a few things I never really realized before. Good job

    It's beautiful So relaxing and melodic. It actually reminds me of music from an SNES game. And that isn't an insult by the way. I LOVE SNES music! Keep up the great work

I was really looking forward to doing my first vocal track Thank you I would assume calm music would be fine for Dash too, but I have had several people tell me otherwise She added the nose bubble to the vector I believe. I'll pass on your kind words to her if she doesn't log on and see this Thank you. That means a lot to me I was trying for a relaxing song, so i'm glad I succeeded

    Remember that Rainbow Dash demo I posted awhile back? Well, it's done!.....kind of. My singer (my wife) Is having a hard time coming up with a vocal melody. Most likely my fault due to how the song is structured. I have never tried to compose a song intended for lyrics before, so it's to be expected. So for now this will remain an instrumental. I apologize I did my best with the EQing. I know it's far from perfect, but I am still learning after all. The bass is high intentionally, in case you start to wonder Now, some of you may be saying "A calm Rainbow Dash song?! What were you thinking?! Blarrrrggg!!!" So I guess I'll let you know what the song is about, so it makes more sense. The basic story is Dashie dreaming of soaring through the sky with the one she loves. Maybe she's dreaming about me? Maybe she's dreaming about you? Or, it could just be some random pony she is dreaming about. You decide It would make a lot more sense with the lyrics, but like I said before.....we had problems with that. Anyway, I think I have wasted enough of your time with my rambling. Enjoy! or not... that's cool too (BTW, if the song crackles, blame Youtube.     I have maybe 4 or 5 close friends in real life. I'm kind of awkward/anxious in social settings, so I tend to not make friends very easily As for online friends? Well, I don't really consider someone a friend until I get to know them, and we talk for awhile, so.... none
