    The point of this episode is already happening in this thread. Jus sayin. I thought it was a fantastic episode and one that will be more memorable than others for because of how well it was laid out. Even though it reminds me of Big Bang Theory a little bit, that's fine cuz its pretty much what I like about that show too. I've found myself falling of both sides of the fence about many different popular culture aspects before, like with Legend of Zelda, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, the Superman and Batman movies, Star Trek and Star Wars, and yes, My Little Pony, among many many others. I think the hallmark of any great show, experience, etc is that it makes a person think about it more, develop an actual opinion about it thats worth arguing, and has the ability to withstand the test of time to continue to shape it's viewers' ideas about it. Basically, you can't please everybody all the time, but you can make people think and feel whether their opinions end up being good or bad. A worthy experience causes people to use their brain and feelings and I think that's most important.

    I've been watching the Lonesome Dove series of miniserieses.

    Oh man. I had to get a new phone and I lost all my progress. I was on level 69 and had 2 million bits.

    I actually enjoyed The Metamorphosis. I thought the writing was very descriptive and I was captivated by the idea.

    It interests me yes. Any terrible tragedy interests me especially when a series of things had to occur for the tragedy to take place. It's fascinating to me to learn about a well documented incident and to learn what each contributing factor was. Another aspect that interests me is the physical and emotional effects on the victims of the tragedies. Especially if it involves some kind of poisoning, whether it be radiation, or some type of chemical or other substances, and it effects on the human body. It's amazing to me how far we have come- in terms of how generations ago poisons or deadly substances were advertised as medications etc, and using poisons in ways that were never thought as harmful. And then thinking about today and what are we using right now that will be clearly regarded as a poison and deadly substance in 50 years? (Sugar in foods will be or should be one. Should be right now, but I digress) Chernobyl is one of those tragedies that amazes me in that it was a series of errors that created the perfect circumstances for disaster.

    OOT will always be my favorite because of the shift to 3D type game play which was SO amazing after having played only 2D and side scrolling for so long. No other zelda game has made such an impression as that initial paradigm shift. After that, yes, the zeldas improved in graphics and whatnot. However, each game after had something about it that I hated. Twilight Wii version was terrible on controls. The game cube version played much better. Skyward sword sucked in the controls department. For me, the game play has to be super convenient for saving and collecting and keeping items (looking at you MM), fun side quests that are optional, good warp utility, to name just a few things. You get the idea tho. OOT had everything you need and nothing you don't in my opinion. It's the one I keep coming back to over and over even with newer installments. It just can't be beat.

    I've pretty much stopped doing any quests and I'm just collecting money at this point. Honestly I think the scarcity of gems is the biggest downfall of this game for me.

    This episode put me straight to sleep. I'll have to watch it again later after having a double mocha frappe to fill in the parts I missed. Not impressed at all this week.

    150 seems to be all that is documented on the game wiki. I was curious if it starts over or just stops giving rewards. Looks like it stops.

    Loneliness is painful, I know that feeling. But try to remember that we are all small but very very important pieces of something much greater. The world would not be the same without each one of us. Don't look at what makes you different and separated, look at how your individuality can still overlap with others.

    Had a bad few days at work. Our department had a huge reorganization, we physically moved to different spaces, and it's shaping up to be an uphill climb.

    Well i enjoyed that, surprising for a HWE episode for me. Plus I don't like songs at all but those were not too bad. I still don't like a mane 7. Sorry not sorry. Get her out of that final shot of them lined up, grrrrr!
