  1. I realize I shouldn't force tears to come down my eyes, it has to be natural. Something that I realize is really hard to do with me. The only time I automatically cry is whenever I think about Mr. Rogers.
  2. This happens to me sometimes where there's this scene where you're supposed to cry but you don't cry at all. You feel a little sad yes, but not a lot. I think it's because I know how storytelling works and I know the tricks and if something's going to happen or not. Sometimes there's something sad happening and you don't feel it because it was: a. expected, and b. the characters aren't real. And even if the movie is based off of real events, you know it's fabricated and rather predictable. I guess I know how the world of fiction works. Any of you guys feel the same way?
  3. A good episode exploring the character dynamic between Rarity and Pinkie Pie and the song was nice.
  4. An African or South American styled location sounds like a place the Mane 6 could go.
  5. Have you guys grown to like the new Starlight Glimmer? While I wasn't a big fan how her redemption was handled, her character has improved in the new season so far without stealing too much of the spotlight. Still, comparing her from season 5 to season 6, is such an abrupt change from her her character they almost feel completely different characters. Honestly, the show needs to be more consistent and nuanced with how the characters are portrayed. Here's hoping for a better villain in the season 6 finale.
  6. I know there are plenty of bronies who first started watching MLP through streaming such as youtube or netflix, I'm just wondering if you watched the show all at once or if you take your time watching. And as a follow-up question, do you do the same thing when ever you're streaming another show? For me, I started watching the show since the early episodes of season 2, and I binge watched whenever I wanted to but also knew when I needed to take a break. How I watched a show depends on the show itself and if I have any free time to watch.
  7. Haven't been in this forum for a while now. The new episodes are ranging from to good to just okay. Honestly, I feel like giving Magic the Gathering a try. I feel like being a wizard being in a wizard duel right now.
  8. I liked this episode... despite being just another retelling of a "Christmas Carol." I liked the songs, the cameos(especially Professor Snape and Sherlock Holmes and Watson), and the framing behind the story. I think Starlight Glimmer is getting a lot of good development, and despite this being way too early to celebrate the holidays, I found it a fun and festive episode. I give it a 8.5/10.
  9. Meh, mediocre. The humor didn't work for me and the moral could'be been articulated better. Worst episode of the season so far. And I'm normally not that negative!
  10. Season 6 is shaping up to be a great season. I liked the character drama between Twilight, Starlight, and Trixie, and the cameos were really fun. I wish Celestia had a bigger role but this is a really great episode.
  11. Receives excitement Inserts banana nut muffin
  12. I liked this episode despite a few flaws, mainly for Amber, learning more about the dragons, showing off Spike's strengths in this episode.
  13. Receives a bunch of nickels Inserts 100 pennies
  14. A good episode but I felt it kind of meandered until the dancing scene. I really liked the cameos, especially Treehugger's.
  15. Receives pizza ingredients Inserts Krabby Patty
  16. Recieves Halo 5 disc Inserts Halo 5 disc
  17. Receives the forest Inserts a kraken
  18. Receives a bunch of jokes Inserts some stupid meaningless philosophical words.
  19. Receives a bucketful full of thumbs downs Inserts a boa constrictor
  20. Recieves flaming hot breath Inserts Rainbow Dash's tears.
  21. A rather low-key, low-stakes episode but still a rather fun episode thanks to the character interactions and exploration of Manehattan. Nothing much say other than it was a fun episode.
  22. At first I was all unhappy after watching Batman vs Superman but after watching How I Met Your Mother I feel much better now.
  23. Watching BVS was such a soul-sucking experience that I needed to hit my head on an invisible wall multiple times.

Superman movies are boring. And all I know is the comics batman kills superman while paranoid of his alien origin and thus where his allegiance lies.

  24. A question that perists sometimes in bronydom is, "Will this show stand the test of time or will it bite the dust?" Personally I think this show will be highly-regarded as the best girl oriented show ever and I think the brony fanbase will still continue many years from now. With some great characters, great animation, and great storylines, I have no doubt this show will last. We're already starting our sixth season, which is already an impressive feat, so I think this show will sontinue being great. What do you guys think?
