    One thing I find cringeworthy in any fandom is when people fly off the handle if someone does not agree with them about some aspect of a show/film/other media/etc. It can also be irksome when fans want to engage in a full on debate/discussion about their ideas when the other person is not interested in doing so. I'd also say that it's off putting when people try to guilt trip/harass others to read their fanfics. Not everyone has the time for or interest in reading them.

    I left that server some time ago because I needed to downsize. Instagram is a pretty nice place to share art and network with other artists, though. I also use Twitter and Tumblr, though I don't interact with artists one on one as much as I do on Instagram. That being said, I don't really get critiques through these sites; I usually turn to friends for some advice. ^^

    Hi there, @Titans08Mariota! Welcome to the forums. I don't believe you have anything to worry about; there are usernames of all kinds here and it is fun to see all of the variety! It's also not everyday ya see users around with football avatars. I will need to lock this thread since it does not have the potential to encourage ongoing participation, and is therefore better suited as a status update or blog. That being said, you should definitely check out these two below. I personally have met quite a few through the friend making thread! I'm sure you'll make many friends here. ^^

    I studied Latin for several years and enjoy translating text (albeit, I'm a bit rusty now!). I took a couple of years of Spanish as well, though I am nowhere near fluent.
