First as far as John de Lancie go's, I got to talk to him face to face at ponyville ciderfest about 2 weeks before the election. It was kinda disappointing because all most of the guests of honor wanted to talk about was the election when I was at the cocktail hour. A part of why it was a big issue was because of Jenn Blake's brain cancer and how she was trying to figure out how to afford treatment when Americas health care system is not very good. John's biggest issues seemed to deal with our education system and the health care system both of which I agree need better support for. I don't think that John's money or "big mansions" has anything to do with what side he was on in the election. I strongly feel that John just wants what will help out people the most that are in need.
As far as Tara go's I was following her on twitter until all this drama picked up. I was pretty bummed out that a person who had suck a positive impact on my life acted the way that she did over the election and its conclusion. I understand her reasons for being frustrated and upset however I never would have thought that she would never let this go. The other big bummer was that Tara Strong to me seemed like the kind a person how could execpt anyone no matter the reason. It's what made her such a powerful and inspirational person in our fandom and to see take out her stress and frustration on so many people and even going as far as to judge ever Trump supporter as being a racist or sexist just made everything feel so much worse.
For anyone that cares to know I was on neither side over the election and did not vote.
