Well it depends on skills. I'm sure artists like those have years and years of experience at this. I'm not even going to try to draw something like this, because I know, that it's impossible for me.

But it applies to other things as well - For example making games - they are nice when complete, but developing them takes ages and it's not an easy thing either. It's just about experience - things will surely look better after 1000th try.

Probably the same thing that I often ask for: Money. xD Yes, it's impersonal but I'd often get cards of money as I never know exactly what I want on the spot. If I have money on me, I can do whatever I want with it when the time comes! I can spend it in any of the stores/shops around, or I can just put it on a temporary card to spend it online.

I... got nothing for Christmas for the past 5.. 6 (or more? I don't even remember) years. *squee*

Solar don't be modest, all you need to do is give it some shading and it will stand out ... while no I'm not an artist I have been around artists and they have shown me tips and tricks ... I have a horrendous drawing of a manticore (it was pretty bad but it still looked like one so theres a plus :/ )
