    Usually new members are the ones, who post their threads in wrong places, so I believe they just didn't get used to that kind of stuff yet. Some new users actually express their confusion in their introduction posts. A wall of categories indeed may be confusing at first. In addition to that, younger users may find it harder to follow the guidelines regarding how the forums are organized - harder to identify which section is which. Or maybe, restrictions for new accounts prevents them from posting something where they want, so it most of the time ends up in the Welcoming Plaza, the basic section they have access to from the very beginning, located at the top, easy to find. Or they just can't English well. Even for users, who are oriented there relatively well, it's sometimes kind of hard to judge where the thread should go, so rarely, but it happens even for them. But if somebody constantly posts something obvious in wrong places, then it has to be some sorcery. Well, perhaps some users have difficulties with finding themselves in forum/online environment or their mental health makes it way harder to focus. Sadly, some have to struggle with that kind of things, which makes me sad...

    Actually, we don't have the option to delete posts. We can remove their contents via editing though. There are few reasons why we don't have the ability to permanently remove contents. You'll find more information in this thread. You can always ask a staff member to remove your contents if you believe, that their existence is no longer relevant. You can also report these contents. Moderators will judge if removal is indeed necessary or not.

    Three years ago; 1st day of March - I bumped into something, that flipped my life upside down. Something, that gave me inspiration to get the hobbies I currently have. Something, that blew my mind and changed the way how I see some things. Something, that just brought me here...

    Yep! It was my third pony anniversary! :love:

    It's been three years and it feels like not so long ago, yet on the other hoof I already miss these times so much- exploring a whole new world. It literally has a nostalgic feel to me. :kindness:
    I honestly would never guess, that such a thing-- designed for kids-- would blow my mind like this. :fluttershy:

    I'm feeling, that I have grown up from that a little though, but I don't want to. I associate way too many good memories with it and even if I'll ever get bored of it - I won't turn my back on ponies, no matter how childish it sounds. They are a relatively big part of my life after all. :grin:

    That's also where you all come in - I most likely wouldn't meet any of you otherwise! :) 

     

    What a shame it took me around 21 days to realize, that I forgot about that. :muffins: At least it's still the same month - so that's good enough! :P 

    So... YAY! :yay:

      As much as I loved similar things in the past - I mean, tv shows, games-- namely their universes-- Nothing compares to ponies, as nothing simply lasted that long and had such a strong impact on anything. :P It's kinda weird, yes.-- magic. :P

      Sometimes I'm wondering what I'd be doing if I wouldn't bump into MLP - Most likely I'd be only playing video games all day. ^_^ I'm glad, that a chain of events gave me the inspiration and brought me here, I don't have any regrets in regards to how I spend my free time. :)

    Oooh this is so true. Heh, that's actually the reason why I muted notifications from status updates. It's not that I have anything against that kind of status updates, it's just that 100+ notifs every single day was making it insanely difficult to follow important events. getting back to the topic...

    Yeah, that happens. Perhaps try using the search page, it seems to perform better. It still tends to throw an error from time to time, but seems to be more stable. Either way, it's a pretty old issue.

    Personally I've bumped into lack of 'laugh' reaction multiple times. When I see funny/hilarious content, I'm not sure which reaction should I pick to express that. The closest ones are 'yay' and 'smiley', but these still aren't accurate enough in my view. I'd imagine something like or , rather than just smile of some sort. As for me, besides brohooves, I mostly use 'thanks' 'yay' and 'smiley' reactions; sometimes 'teacup'. Another most commonly used by me reaction would be that 'laugh'. Other than that- I can't really think of more- I think it's enough of these and as @Jeric has said, there definitely shouldn't be too many of these. Not only it may make things more problematic, it may also just look more chaotic. If I recall correctly, only the default brohoof adds reputation; the rest are neutral (don't affect your reputation at all). They may have changed that though - I may have overlooked an update regarding this and I didn't pay attention to that feature's behavior to tell that myself, so correct me if I'm wrong.
