gaming Any Sonic Fans? How Do You Feel About How The Internet Treats The Series?
Ganondorf8 replied to OmegaBeamOfficial's topic in Media Discussion
It's not surprising given how the Sonic fandom has been very vocal towards other fandoms and has been at odds with itself over the direction the franchise has been going in. -

books your favorite book from your childhood?
Ganondorf8 replied to Summer Breeze's topic in Media Discussion
My favourite book series is Fighting Fantasy, known as the world's most popular adventure gamebook series that originally ran from 1982 to 1995. It has since been revived in 2005 and then 2009 through reprints though not all of them have been reprinted. The new series' have new gamebooks for those who want new adventures. I still have the books I picked up during the original run, but their conditions have deteriorated over the years. -

@@Sparklefan1234 I think it counts considering Sunset does have a solo part of the song. My favourite song is "Embrace the Magic" from Legend of Everfree because of how beautiful her voice is and how she encouraged the others to accept their new powers. Rebecca Shoichet went above and beyond when it comes to singing. I've even fully memorized the lyrics. Speaking of which, here's that moment where Sunset changed her destiny.

At this point, it would be best if it were to happen to a relatively new character. Having it happen to an already established character this far into the show's run would look awkward unless they explained their reasoning well. A new character is easier to utilize and doesn't have the baggage established characters have.

I never really viewed Starlight as being overpowered. Sure, she has shown that she possesses an incredible amount of power that can rival the magic used by the princesses, yet ever since reforming and flourishing under Twilight's guidance, she hasn't really gone to extreme lengths in showcasing her magical talent with the exception of testing her abilities under safe conditions. Starlight became powerful because she wanted to get rid of cutie marks because losing her only friend was the result of Sunburst receiving his a lot sooner than anyone expected. To remove cutie marks takes an incredible amount of talent and since she chose to isolate herself and not make new friends, Starlight spent that time pursuing magic until she believed she had enough. Being defeated by Twilight meant she needed to go even further so she continued her original pursuit in hopes of making Twilight's life miserable. She even managed to outdo Star Swirl by perfecting a spell that he himself created. And yet, once she realized that her goals, there was no real need for her to continue gaining power. I mean, she still does for the sake of magical knowledge, but no longer desires it for dominion over all she surveys. Is Starlight stronger than Star Swirl? That's a difficult question to answer since we don't really know the full extent of Star Swirl's power aside from references made by other characters. Is she stronger than Twilight? I'd say there are fairly even although Twilight does refrain from going overboard while Starlight doesn't seem to possess that nature.

Sunset Shimmer represents embracing adulthood and responsibility
Ganondorf8 replied to cider float's topic in Equestria Girls
An interesting perspective and one that not even I would've noticed. It does make sense seeing as Sunset is now the resident magical expert so she understands it better than anyone else. She guides her friends towards accepting that their lives are no longer what they used to be, and to embrace the changes they go through. -
Will Chysalis return in Season 7?
Ganondorf8 replied to NeonCobalt's topic in MLP:FiM Canon Discussion
They don't want to use the same villain too many times otherwise it becomes both stale and predictable. If anything, I would like to see a new villain appear and attempt to bring Equestria to its knees in whatever fashion they have. That being said, if Chrysalis were to appear in season seven, I'd do it over several episodes that showcase what she has been up to since losing her hive either from her perspective or from what other ponies describe in case they encountered her. -
gaming Opinions On The Nintendo Switch?
Ganondorf8 replied to OmegaBeamOfficial's topic in Media Discussion
You could say that without the DLC, you'll only experience half of what Hyrule Warriors has to offer. Wii U owners are upset that the new maps are exclusive to the 3DS version, but that's because Legends has some new features and addressed problems that make the console game obsolete. Legends isn't perfect mind you but perhaps they could make further improvements for a possible sequel for the Switch. A new Hyrule Warriors game would be perfect for Nintendo's new system. -
Just finished watching Legend of Everfree for now the 29th time since it came out on Netflix.

Which one shot characters you wish to return?
Ganondorf8 replied to snowflame's topic in MLP:FiM Canon Discussion
Cheese Sandwich and Quibble Pants would only be able to return if they can get Weird Al and Patton Oswalt to reprise their role if the two characters were to appear in a major role. It won't be easy getting Yankovic and Oswalt since they're both pretty busy, but I'm sure something could be arranged. Me personally? I'd like to see Tree Hugger come back in a major speaking role. I also want to see Moondancer return and also Trouble Shoes.
