I kind of disagree. I think the show is already doing that a big to much. But... There are background / important ponies I would like to see more of. I think its a bad ideal to say that "The show should do this." No... The show should do what ever the staff thinks they can do best. If they say "I have this really good ideal for Twilight" its a bad ideal to say "Nope, we are doing background ponies for now."

If two organisms can reproduce and make non-sterile offspring on a effective basis they are in fact the same "Species" Race in this case however is being used in the same way that "Ethnic group" is used. So, while I pick up what your putting down. Its also a matter of Disciplinary definitions. - Race does not mean the same in one line of study that it means at large or in another line of study. - But also as a side note. No Celestia is not racist. I refer back to the point about Cadence being a Pegasus before she became a Alicorn. - The point about Celestia taking intrest in powerful magic users is not a matter of racism is a matter of ability. - (Using a real life example, please don't get mad at me or call me anything I don't respond well to it) If I train boxers. And I'm the best boxing trainer and only take the best students. I'm not racist is I only end up training say... Jewish boxers because all the best potential boxers I meet happen to be Jewish. I'm Racist if I meet a Dark Skinner guy (or girl) and say "How your not Jewish, I mean I know that you show all the hints of being a good boxers, but I'm going to pass.) Celestia only training Unicorns in Magic is not a case of her picking one group because she thinks they are better at a skill then another group. Its a matter of her picking students with a ability because other students actually LACK the ability. It would be like saying "Celestai is a racist because all the Wonderbolts are Pegasus." Ya, that's because Earth Pones/Unicorn can't fly.... - Its not a matter of saying. "This guy can't be a base ball player because he is white." its a matter of saying. "This guy can't be a base ball players, because he has no arms...." - If it came to pass that Celestia met a earth pony that could do magic, I'm sure she would be more then willing to teach them (Actually maybe more so) Same thing with my baseball thing. I'm not sure how that would work. (Same thing with the earth pony thing)

If by "Child" you mean. Representative of being younger then legally adult? Yes. But. ___________ Let's understand Child means different things in different places. Even in the United states a little more then 100 years ago people where more or less expected to be adults by about 15. Your great grand parents got married at 14-16 pretty standard. (Maybe Great Great, depending on your age) - People moved out, got jobs, drove at a younger age. I more or less consider some one to be "A person" When they can hold a discussion about a serious subject. And that comes at different ages for different people. Spike is 100% at that point. ________ Now that being said. I can tell you what Spike is. ________ Spike is "The younger brother" That's what he does and always has represented in the show. But not the "Little Brother" Not a 5-9 year old brother to a 10-12 year old sister. Spike is the 11-14 year old brother to a 15-18 year old Sister. Or even a 14-16 year old brother to a college student sister. - He's adult enough to have a conversation with. Hang out with his sister and her friends. Have a Crush on one of his sisters friends. And do some things that actually need a trust worthy person to do. - Actually Spike is more or less Me at 13-17 with my older sister being twilight... well actually my sister was more a Fluttershy. And I was more a Twilight. But you get the point. Spike does everything that the younger (But very closer) Younger brother does. ________________________________________________________________________ But as somepony already pointed out. No one complained that he was a 'child' when he saved the day. Just like one one in history ever complained when some one who was 'A bit young' for there role preformed well. - In short. Spike is a "Young man" I would say Pre-Teen to Teen. With Twilight being a High School Senior to College Age older sister.

Side note: Cadence was a Pegasus... Not a Unicorn. Leader of ponyville is a earth pony. Should also be noted that she seams to have not problem with two of the elements being earth ponies. And two being Pegasus. And if you pay attention to the episode with the Eqestrian games. Plenty of the leaders seam to be Earth Ponies / Pegasus. - Now all that being said. I understand Satire when I see it and in that Vain. ~Clears throat~ ___________ HOW DARE YOU BESMIRCH THE GODDESS EMPRESS CELESTIA! ~holds up hoof in salute~ ALL HAIL CELESTIA! She is the divine co-ruler of all of equestrian and all decedents will be sent to Moon Gulag! Alicorn Princess Government is not best government! It is ONLY Government!

Anything dealing with Spike.... No really. Spike seams to have a very bad relationship with Murphy. Just for sidekicks. Princess Spike. And my Number one Pick: "Spike at your service." I don't know how spike goes from being hypercompetent to literally ass incompetent. - Rainbow Dash seams to have a lot of this also. - But in general from the perspective of the show at large. Anything mistake will be repeated. Only with another pony. I mean I know that the creative staff has a lot to do. But this show has a lot of Room for stories that really don't push the show forward any. Really I think the staff should just relax and have some more slice of life (Not the episode the concept) Episodes. - Like I kind of want a 'day in the life' episode about luna/celestia. Could be fun and done really light harteatly.

5 out of 5. Great song. Funny. Good Moral: Moral: Things don't always go as plan or want them to go. But good friends can soften the blow... Also Important Moral: THE GODDESS EMPRESS CELESTIA! Hates the Gala. And she will destiny anything she hates.. P.S. I think HIGH PRIESTESS OF THE MOON PRINCESS LUNA had insurance taken out on the Gala.... As a wise PRINCESS OF THE NIGHT would. P.S.S.: Clearly GOD EMPRESS CELESTIA gave her inside information on the Insurance ideals. but in her dreams where no one but Luna Would be able to listen in... and in the saucy bits. Because that is where Luna would hang out. Because she's kind of a creep like that.

5.5... repeating. out of 5. The pink one is finally amusing after her spirit has been broken.... Moral: All of you Friends are crazy.... And some them are Terrifying. Those are the one's that you should keep the closest. Because they will ***** a pony right up the **** in a dark castle on a ****** Hill in a ******* forest where no pony can here there screams. PS: Her mane looks so much nicer that way.

3 out 5. Meh. We get it... Spike is Twilight little brother and is Jealous. Twilight should however get a better pet.. Something fitting. A Alicorn Princess... Sorry for now shouting that, I'm rather horse (No pun intended) After reviewing the other episodes in this season.

5 out of 5. Pony Rarity shows why Ponies are Superior to stupid dirt dogs. And why Unicorns are Superior to other Less Superior but still QUITE Superior ponies. Almost up to Alicorn Princess Standards... But not quite THAT Superior. ~Raises hoof~ "ALL HAIL OUT ALICORN PRINCESSES! MAY THERE LOVE SHINE DOWN ON US!"

3 out of 5. I am very disappointed in this poor display by rarity in front of our lady and god empress princess Celestia.

Did not like. No one should ever question out Pony Lady Twilight Sparkle. ~Holds up hove~ "ALL HAIL PRINCESS TWILIGHT SPARKLE!" it does not matter that she had not asended to Mare-Goddessdom yet. The Pink would should be banish to 1000 years dungeon no trails. _ Moral of story: If there is no god then why are they Horses.. and a Pony? ~Holds up hove~ "ALL HAIL THE ALICORN PRINCESSES!"

5 out of 5. Amazing. Rarity has a good song. Has a GREAT Moral: If some makes you a gift pony don't look at it's teeth.... Wow that didn't come out sounding right. - Umm. If some one does something really nice for you. Don't be over critical about it.

4 out of 5. Two of my favorite ponies.. Get beat by my favorite pony.. End of story. - Moral: Reading about running is better then practicing running.

2 out of 5... I don't care for this episode and will leave it at that. I like the CMC. Just not in this episode.

Celestia be Damned.... that song.. Is parasprites for the mind... I love it so... 5 out of 5. Everyone loves this episode... Except it would seam. For My Room mate... Or soon to be Ex-Room mate.

3 out of 5... Problem: Pinkie's fault... 100% How you ask... Simple: Be less vague you stupid pink pony... Actually that's a really good lesson for young teenage girls.... Actually, as side note. If would have been less vague, they would not have believed her. BUT, then at least it would have been there fault and the lesson would have been better. Up side: We get to see our Lady and Pony Savior ~Raises right hove~ "ALL FAIL GODDESS EMPRESS CELESTIA!"

4 out of 5 on my sliding scale of cartoon awesomeness. Great Episode. Flutter Guy. Zecora. Applebloom and Twilight are the only sane ponies... And even Twilight lets the other ponies get to her.

This is my first 5 episode. There is nothing to not like about this. Some of my favorite ponies. Great set of lessons. Great Pony Interaction. really the thing that pushs this over the top. There is nothing I can find wrong with it.
