Hey! im fairly new to the fandom, and I'm a teenager. I really like the ideas of friendship and kindness that are at the core of the show, as I can really relate to them. Just having a place in your mind to go to where everything is nice and peaceful can really help you out when you are struggling with the difficulties life can bring. In our violent and stressful world, I think it's a much needed retreat for those of us who just want a little magic in our lives. Honestly it's just a great way to de-stress and be happy, however difficult your real life may be. It's made me a better person, too! There are plenty of great lessons to learn and the characters are very relatable. And, of course, it's a really entertaining show! my family does not know (hehe) many of my friends know I like mlp, and I take quite a bit of flak for it, but I will stick up for myself because I love the show. I certainly have been harassed both online and in real life for liking the show. It's a shame how you get judged for liking a tv show nowadays. Mlp is different because most people who watch the show really embody what the show is all about- friendship. I really like that about bronies. edit: forgot to mention, there are tons of stories of people who have even come back from the brink of suicide because of MLP. It's really neat seeing how this fantastic show can cause such an impact. edit two: grammar mistakes
