I think you ment to say sexless instead if genderless, and by that definition I agree with you because reproduction would be not impossible in the land of magic but improbable. Throax has transformed into Starlight for To Where and Back Again, and Twilight too. In Twilight's fantasy, another changeling transformed into Starlight too to cause trouble.

I think that the wonderbolts are a Pegasus exclusive group because they need Pegasus magic to be prepared to do things in the act with what they have. They are a specialized group that use their body and natural Pegasus magic. I would think that there's a different aircraft division for non pegasy ponies though.

I'm really not sure about this one but i kinda want to believe that since changelings have always look kinda similar in terms of physical appearance, have always had one single purpose as a swarm, they have no real social gender differences or roles, even post reformation they are all different but sex difference wasn't part of that equation, then they might be a non-binary society. What i mean is that gender with them (maybe even sex) is not as well defined and the vast majority of them do follow this vagueness in every sense (voice, height, color (though in the latest episodes they kinda want to make them be differentiated by blue and pink to imply gender, which.. is kinda not cool but whatever)) you can't say that horn differences or neck crystals are the defining characteristics for identifying their sex when you suddenly get contradicted by the show and have to start over. That doesn't mean that all of them follow this rule though since there are some characters that are a bit more clear on what gender/sex they are like Pharynx, Thorax, Ocellus and Chryssi of course. but as a whole theres far more that could be anything or nothing at all (sexless). And well, we have the whole color identity issues scene, and Ocellus identity issues too when she wanted advice from Starlight. So i will assume that Ocellus is having this thing because she is spending more time in a binary based society and kinda wants to find herself on it. and well, they are insects too, so wouldn't you know that bees can change their sex according to what's needed. Of course this is when they are developing but changelings could have that later in their lives if needed to perform a certain task that involves their sex change or gender change. It's cool. I want to believe that. but what do you think? also, now that i think about it, if they had any gender or sexual taboos it would be counter productive to their deceptive abilities.

We all have headcanons and something we wish it was real, confirmed, or included in the canon of the show. Or maybe you just have something really cool in your mind that would be awesome to have it in the show. What are some of yours?

changeling because everyone knows that unicorns are the master race but changelings are the master species. I could be pretty much everything i want, like a ditto but without the stats and moves limitations. The only bad thing about it is that they have probably a lot of mental issues but i already have them so that's fine. if you want to know which pony pony race i would be though it would be earth pony because i think they are much more than what they appear to be in terms of race and because no one suspects the earth pony.

- unicorns keep telling the other races they are equal to keep their status quo without mutiny. - princes celestia is a lot more morally gray and has made some questionable things - all that happens in the show is being imagined by pinkie pie, which real name is actually Pei Peng Pai a human from east china during the 90s, nothing is real. She's been in a coma for 6 years, she imagines herself in the world as a pink earth pony named pinkie pie that has adventures with her favorite hasbro toys and also has special abilities, that's why she being and earth pony can make impossible things like falling into pieces, deflate like a balloon, take things from the real world into equestria, grow extra limbs, etc. aside from having adventures all the time saving equestria. something happened when she was 10 thought and that's why all the villains in the show, which represent that traumatic event, all happened 1000 years ago even if that's completely impossible if it were real. Princes Celestia and Luna represent the mother figures she always wanted since her mother died when she was young and had to live with her uncle and his family (the pie family in the rock farm) and that's why they all look so different from her. Twilight is the manifestation of her best friend as a pony and the others are all either imaginary friends or friends and family that made an impact on her in some way. She tries to solve all her childhood traumas during this coma without her acknowledging but she will probably never come back and will loose herself forever in this made up world.

my ponysona is a recently reformed changeling. because i'm just trying to learn to friendship (have trouble with just being nice or being too overly nice), not be so blunt, and to not suck the love out of everything. also because i share the not-so-healthy-past thing and i'm very indecisive about what could represent me, i'm always changing, have personality/identity problems. we have a lot in common. Their preferred transformation (as for now) is an earth pony that has an invisible cutiemark because their talent is that can enter the void and use it to appearify in imposible places like what pinkie does sometimes (i believe that changelings acquire the talents of what they are changing to so they just got a cutiemark that way by copying a seemingly markless pony and overtime they just make their own "OC").

He's a unicorn according to the show He's an umbrum according to the comics. It all comes down if you take the comics as canon, though it has been stated by the show staff and writers themselves that is not. Take it like official writerfics if you will. you can make your own headcanon regardless. Also apparently he was turn into shadow, which implies he wasn't a shadow before and that the elements of harmony transformed him.

it wouldn't be that surprising with canterlot ponies though. we have seen some examples of unicorns being racist (on just make some insensitive comments) to earth ponies or farm/country related things or feel superior because they can do magic. but i would think that a well positioned earth pony would be just fine. is more like classism but just happens that most earth ponies are fitted for agricultural work so... oops.

what is your point exactly? because we are going in circles here and in my earth ponies magic thread. I would like to have earth ponies just as equally represented, explained and with a clear understanding of what can they do as a race not individual talents since all of them can achieve anything as individuals but just like Syndrome said "when everyone's super, no one will be", to balance them out with what unicorns can do, throw pegasus to the formula too. You want them to not be so they stay like they are and so they can be appreciated for what they can't do? do you want me not to find a cool way to balance them out since the writers and the show didn't bother to explain it? are you following canon or not? are you only implying the core philosophy of the three tribes or are you basing what you say with the facts of the show not what they say it should be? you said that unicorns are actually op in the show but now you're saying that they are all balanced because earth ponies are just as valuable for what they can't be and for what we have never seen them all do in the show, so which is it? you know... it's my fault to try to argue with you because every time you counter argue with me at least (in any thread) you take it a bit too seriously or try to counterargue with anything just to keep going, and i try to share my opinions which is just that, opinions and wishful desires, but it feels like you are trying to tell me something else or try to convince me of something i don't agree with. and i'm tired. if you believe they are balanced it's fine. Go with it. but don't try to argue with me on it because i have my own opinions on the matter that are as valid as any other.
